The show includes all the latest Big Brother 10 news and exclusive clips from housemates before entering the house. It's currently the longest running spin-off of the main show, about to enter it's fifteenth series.

The series has alot of recurring items that have appeared in different formats, series by series. A recap of the days happenings opens each episode and airs under the title of BBLB News 24 (previously BBLB News) and at the end of each episode, the host will often sit with the episodes guests and answer a probing Big Brother related question in the feature Little Brother's Big Answer, this was previously called Call BBLB, were live calls and emails would be asked to that episodes guests and the BBLB Forum which worked in the same way, however took place only over the internet were viewers would pose their questions in a moderated forum.

The show is represented in the media by a eye, which is different for each series, often trying to incorporate a theme for the series. These are often released before the show actually begins and are also used in the opening titles of the show. The theme tune by Paul Oakenfold and Andy Gray is released under 'Big Brother Theme' by Element Four - tweaks have being made to the theme used throughout each series. The set has changed alot from how it began and also tends to have little tweaks made to it, series by series. (The last complete set revamp was made when Dermot left, but still features the same kind of setup)

The show was previously hosted by Dermot O'Leary, for the first twelve series (who was also d as an Assistant Producer by the time he left the show). Natalie Casey also co-hosted for the first week of the first series.

When Dermot left, rumours circulated about who would be taking his place on the show, it was eventually announced that George Lamb and Zezi Ifore would be co-presenters on the next series. Zezi wasn't popular at all with the viewers and the show became criticised heavily over her poor presenting skills. She was gradually demoted to a roving reporter role, until she was completely axed in between Big Brother 9 and Celebrity Big Brother 6. Throughout the series in which George and Zezi presented, certain episodes starting airing for an hour instead of the half an hour they were billed for, these extended episodes continued in Series 14, however the episodes have already been publicised as airing for an hour. Throughout series 14, ex-celebrity housemate Michael Barrymore took on the role of roving reporter.

The show itself has not only run through the main Big Brother series (from series two onwards), but also the Celebrity and Celebrity Hijack series as well. (With the exception of the first 'Celebrity' series due to it been simulcast on the BBC.) The show's title is often abbreviated to BBLB. Or throughout the Celebrity Big Brother series, CBBLB.

After an eviction, the housemate(s) evicted from the Big Brother house, traditionally spent their first week out of the house as a guest on Big Brother's Little Brother. This has changed from series 13, as the housemate tends to only appear once or twice throughout the week. The show also boasts celebrity guests and experts who come in to discuss and analyse the events occuring in the Big Brother house. Other ex-housemates from previous series often return in recurring features, series by series as well.

When the show first began it aired on weeknights on Channel 4 from 6pm it has also had brief stints in the 6.30pm and 5.30pm timeslots. It was also rebranded as Big Brother's Little Breakfast (Alongside Celebrity Big Brother 4-Series 8), were it moved to 8am. It moved to 7.30pm on E4 in series 9 until 4th July 2008, were it's remained in the 6.00pm slot.less «

  As Dermot O'Leary is officially the new co-host of The X Factor and rumours of this being Davina's last series of Big Brother I was wondering if anyone knew about Dermot's contract and If people think he'll stay with the show after it runs out or not?

  To be honest i absolutely hate big brother. It gets on my nerves and is a complete waste of time. But on the other hand, BBLB i absolute love! its funny,amusing, and is much more entertaining than big brother. now dont get me wrong, its not my absolute favorite show, and it does have some down points, but if i had to chose between it and Big Brother, i would chose it any day.so over all i feel that big brother is a stupid programme that i wouldnt watch in a million years, but Big Brothers Little Brother is better and more interesting by far

  when this show started it was cutting edge but when the swapped it's channel it went down hill fast they did try to revamp it and eventually moved it back to its original channel and it did improve a little.
  
  They have so called guest celeb's on the show and ask them who they like but its so obvious that they are told who to like and that most of them haven't even seen the show In an attempt to get more viewers this year they have a presenter who no one knows if they will actually be there, they lost the presenter of BBBM and now we don't know if they with have BBLB a sad end to what was once a good show!

  This the fanzine show to its Big Brother. hide « show »

  This is an extra show to keep viewers up to date with the latest goings on in the big brother house. The host Dermot is a great presenter. There is lots of different things in the show, including bunny cam which is a camera hidden in a bush shaped as a bunny in the garden, and the quiz where you win the housemates stuff. On a Sunday there is a special longer shower where Dermot interviews the housemate that was evicted on Friday Night. He also has sunday lunch with the evicted housemate and their family and talk to them.
