As the first four housemates, Mario, Lisa, Luke and Stephanie enter, they are set a secret task, which is not to be revealed to the other housemates, who enter afterwards. The bedroom doors are opened leading to some housemates having to sleep in not so luxurious beds. Big Brother gives the housemates some tokens as part of a welcome pack, and reveals what they can be traded in for - everyday things like a hour of hot water or an hour of hair straighteners.
