The biggest winner is "The Biggest Loser" in this compelling new weight-loss reality drama in which two celebrity fitness trainers join with top health experts to help overweight contestants transform their bodies, health and ultimately, their lives. Alison Sweeney ("Days of Our Lives") hosts the unscripted, two-hour series in which two competing teams follow comprehensive diet and exercise plans to undergo radical physical makeovers. Unique physical challenges, surprising alliances and irresistible temptations make the competition even tougher for the contestants, who ultimately have to decide which player gets eliminated each week. In the end, "The Biggest Loser" becomes the biggest winner, walking away with a healthier body - and $250,000. "The Biggest Loser" is a production of NBC Universal Television Studio, Reveille, 25/7 Productions and 3 Ball Productions. Ben Silverman (NBC's "The Restaurant," "The Office (US)"), David Broome ("Jingle Ball Rock"), J.D. Roth ("NBC's "For Love or Money," "Endurance"), John Foy ("For Love or Money," "Endurance") and Todd A. Nelson ("For Love or Money," "Endurance") are the executive producers.

After the first Biggest Loser was crowned in January of 2005, a second Biggest Loser began in September, pitting the men versus the women in the ultimate chance of losing weight and feeling good about yourself.   Did any one else feel like three hours was a bit long? I had to check this morning after I woke up to see if it was still on. :D I was unhappy with the winner (Helen). I was hoping for Mike, or Tara at least. I am SO glad the idiot Ron did not win the at-home portion. Can't stand that back stabbing, attention whore. It was sadto see Ron's other son still quite heavy. Maybe he should be in the next seaon? less «

  That's right.I've watched this show and I say that it's a very not nice show.I mean,what kind of show would do this?Showing what weight they are and it sounds like that they have a lot of weight?That is one of the meanest ideas ever.It's a very mean show and the idea is very mean.Everything is really mean about this show and I say that this is the meanest show ever.I grade this show of a grade.You know what it is.It's an F because you know why?It's because it's the meanest show ever and the maker of this show is out of his mind.

  The Biggest Loser used to be a very inspiring show, but the producers keep adding more and more drama, which really takes away any of the spice the show used to possess. hide « show »

  The Biggest Loser is a really neat and interesting show. Watching people go from morbidly obese to an average weight in a short period of time is very addictive. The show has always been very emotional too. There are always contestants to feel sorry for and really root for while watching. Some people work so hard that you just feel like they deserve to win everything because they've been held back all of their lives. As the seasons continue, the show really is changing. Instead of focusing on the daily struggles the contestants face, the producers try to film as much annoying drama as possible. Anymore, it seems like the show is about the rivalry between the trainers, which really takes away from the enjoyment. I used to watch this show to be inspired, but now, it is really hard to sit through an entire episode without getting annoyed. The drama is definitely at an all-time high, and it has lost its focus. If they were to start focusing on the contestants' weight loss challenges instead of who made who mad this week, the show might actually get better, but as time goes on, the drama only gets worse than the week before.

  The Biggest Loser is a really great show. It has transformed in it's challenges, setup, and ideas season after season, but it always has the same goals in mind- Losing weight. I personally like Jillian and Bob and how they train their contestants. I also enjoy how the contestants are so eager to change their lives and get a new fresh slate. In the first three seasons of BL the contestants were either on the Blue team or the Red team, which each had approximately 6-8 players. Season four added the addition of the black team, and now season 5-7 have been about couple or pairs working through challenges as friends or family, which I really enjoy to see, because I've noticed that most of the people lose more weight on campus and at home with the help of a loved one. BL is a teriffic show, and tohough I hate that they do advertise for stuff such as ziploc and extra gum on the show, it is still a very decent and great show to watch, and well worth your time. -BJ 8)

  inspiring show, interesting people, dramatic trainers... hide « show »

  I just recently started watching this show and I have fallen in love with it. Though I wouldn't care if I missed an episode, it's still a show that I look forward to seeing and it's a good reality show. The show isn't cut throat like most reality shows and it's nice to see the kindness and helpfulness that comes from the participants in the show. I love Bob; I think he really cares for the contestants, though he is a bit over-dramatic. I find Julian annoying and rude, but her method of training is successful. Overall, just a solid reality show that is inspiring and entertaining every week.

  This show is incredible. The transformations are unreal. In this season one of the male contestants has lost 100lbs in just 8 short weeks. It is incredible to think what this show is doing. If I was overweight this show would have defiantly influenced me to get back in shape and loose the weight. They have incredible trainers (Jillian and Bob). My favourite is Jillian...I like that way she kicks everyone's ass. This shoe can change your life for the better if you allow it. Ever since watching this show I have been eating better. I just hope everyone else enjoys this show as much as I do. People can change their lives...all they have to do is try and not give up when things get tough.
