Bill Goldberg: Biography
Goldberg played college football as a nose guard for the University of Georgia Bulldogs. He later played pro ball with the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams. A knee injury ended his football career.
It was Goldberg's girlfriend, Lex Luger and Steve “Sting” Borden. That convinced him to try wrestling. He made his professional debut on 22nd September, 1997. He trained with WCW Power Plant wrestling school. This began the path of what made him a wrestling superstar, his undefeated winning streak. WCW claims that he had one hundred and seventy-four wins. The count of 174 wins came from a record of televised matches and pay-per-views.
This streak was broken by Kevin Nash in late 1998 with help from Scott Hall and a stun gun. Later Nash laid down for Hulk Hogan and the rest is history. Goldber stormed the ring and his feud with the NWO was spawned. The Hitman claimed he could beat Goldberg in 5 minutes. Later on, Goldberg speared Bret Hart while Hart was wearing a steal vest. It knocked Goldberg out and Hart rolled him over for the three count in an act of severe mocking. Goldberg has promised to get Hart. I will end with just one statement from Goldberg "WHO's NEXT !?!?!?!?!"
Goldberg has gone on to TV and movies, he can currently be as the host of Automanic.
