After a foiled bank heist results in the death of one of the security guards, Patrick Bouchard, Castillo and Sweet initially turn their suspicion to police constable Gord Wickman, who had been moonlighting as a security guard, and the investigation brings the low police morale to the surface. Pogue and Oosterhuis investigate when Jennifer Tyner, a junkie who happens to be the daughter of a well-connected local businessman, is found dead.
