Art AppreciationEpisode Number: 43 Season Num: 3 First Aired: Monday April 26, 1999 Prod Code: 301 |
There's a big Art Show happening at the Blue's Clues house. We pose for a portrait for Steve. We also find that there's something fishy going on, when fish seem to be popping up in artwork everywhere. In a Blue Skidoo segment, we help some friends to get back to the paintings where they belong.

The closing credits included "Special Thanks to our Intern: Alyse Hachay."
(edit)
David Burger is credited as "Duke" David Burger. Joyce Raimando appears, but is not credited.

Beginning with this season, there's a new "Cast" section that credits the voice actors/actresses of major characters with the names of their characters. Unfortunately, at this point, it's a generic list that includes cast that didn't necessarily appear in the episode.

Mailtime Segment: As part of the art theme, Mailbox has a mural on him. The letter is also decorated and Steve comments on it being very fancy. In the letter, Joyce Raimando is with some kids at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The kids observe a sculpture and try to figure out what the person capture in the sculpture was doing.
(edit)
Steve: We just got a real fancy letter.
(edit)
Steve: You sure are excellent fish-finders. Now let's go see if we can find some more fish. I mean clues.
(edit)
Steve: Let me guess. Is it a picture of a fish?
Phaedrus: Yes! How did you know? (edit) Steve: Whoops. Less is more - got to remember that. (edit)
Phaedrus: Yes! How did you know? (edit) Steve: Whoops. Less is more - got to remember that. (edit)
The closing credits run at a ridiculously fast speed, 13 seconds to the show them all.
