Steve greets us, telling us that Blue's friend Green is over visiting. He, Green and Blue have been playing with blocks. Green enjoys knocking over blocks, but these days, she only knocks down her own blocks. We learn that Steve has created a playground using blocks and Blue is aspiring to build a really tall tower. In this episode, blocks are used as device for learning about height, balance and more. In building Blue's tower, Steve tells her that the first thing she needs is a strong foundation. We help her to find one - a solid base of rectangles. Next, we help her to balance a block on top of the base by centring it, then add two more, this time by placing equal weights on opposite sides. Additionally, Green demonstrates using blocks not needed by Blue what would have happened if the blocks hadn't been balanced on the tower properly. Later, we skidoo into a block world where we meet up with an architect. He's created blueprints for a number of buildings and needs our help! We first help him to construct a road, selecting a set of three rectangles from three different choices. Next, we help him construct a bank and finally a giant wall.
