Steve welcomes us in and Blue barks for us to come. She and Steve are putting some things away. It turns out that Blue's busy making a special place for herself in her room. We help her out by hanging a painting on the wall that she can look at while she's sitting down. We hear counting and find Tickety, who's hiding under a blanket. It's her special place where she can do her favorite thing: counting to big numbers like 25. In this episode, we learn about some of the various characters' special places. We get a call from Mr. Salt, but when we check for him in the kitchen, he's not there. It turns out that he and Mrs. Pepper are at home in the cabinets. We check out Paprika's new room, which she's setting up in order for Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper to get ready for their new baby. She has a big bed now that's a lot bigger than her old peanut shell cradle. We see some of her old baby things, such as a mobile. They're going to give it to the new baby, but what will Paprika use to listen to music? We select a radio for her that will play great music and is also a big-kid thing. Next, Paprika discards her diapers, saying that now she can use the potty. She also finds some bricks that she can use to build a tower. Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper create a song about how she's growing up. Later, we receive an invitation from Blue to visit her special place. She gives us a tour, showing us an area with a bookshelf and a pillow, where she can read books. She also shows off a theater area for puppet shows and Steve takes the opportunity to bring out Sock Puppet. Finally, she shows us a place with lots of outfits to play dress-up. None of these things, however, are her favorite thing to do in her special place.
