Blue's Sad DayEpisode Number: 34 Season Num: 2 First Aired: n/a Prod Code: 214 |
When we come in, we find that Blue's ears are droopy and she seems to be very sad. We suggest how we and Steve might be able to help her and then we help some of the other characters as well. We help out a felt friend who's scared of someone in an angry looking mask. We also skidoo into a picture of Blue's school and find several of the students in "tough situations." By thinking about their problems, we're able to recommend the better solution of two choices.

First appearance of Green Puppy. Although Adam Peltzman, who also writes and story edits for though, is credited as one of "Steve's Friends" in this episode, he is listed here as a guest star because earlier seasons of the program use a generic credits screen that doesn't credit voices by character.

Mailtime Segment: Steve thinks that getting a letter might cheer up Blue. We learn that delivering the mail makes Mailbox feel proud. In the letter, a group of kids talk about and act out feelings. One of them demonstrates a happy face. Another says that her dog makes her really happy. There's a girl that's afraid of the dog and one that gets angry when kids pushe her. A boy demonstrates an angry face. A girl shows what a scared face looks like and finally we see a girl with a happy face.

When Blue Kitten and Purple Kangaroo continue playing "Follow the Leader" after we help them with their situation, they head to the left, but Steve and Blue head to the right and then all of a sudden, Purple Kangaroo is there sitting on the ground with a book.

Steve refers to Green Puppy as both male and female. When Green Puppy comes in the door, Steve says that "he" brought Blue a flower. Later, he says that Blue gave Green Puppy "her" own blocks to knock down. For the record, Green Puppy is female, according to the official FAQ.
