Steve invites us in, saying that it's story time and he's just about to read a story. We help him find Blue, who's hiding under the storybook, "A Puppy's Day." Steve gets ready to read the book, but Blue stops him because it's not her favorite story anymore. In this episode, we check out some classic stories and help to fix some things in stories that aren't right. Following a tip from Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, we find Shovel, Pail and Blue in the garden. They're acting out the story "Jack and Jill," which Shovel being Jack, Blue being Jill, and Pail as the pail of water in the story. They're not sure how the story starts: do Jack and Jill go up a tree, or perhaps a mountain? We help them to figure out that it's a hill. We also correct the mistaken idea that they went to fetch a pail of ice cream and then listen to the end of the story. Later, Blue pops out of a treasure chest which contains a photo album. We look at pictures of Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Tickety Tock and then find some photos from Blue's first day of school. We see her doing something with a friend she met, Magenta, but unfortunately, the pictures are all out of order. Using logic, we put the story together in the following order: Blue says hi to a new friend, Magenta and the two of them head to the paint table to paint. They get down to really painting and at the end of the school day, they give each other the pictures that they made. In the Blue Skidoo segment, we help out Baby Bear and his family from the "Goldilocks" story. Everything at their house is all mixed up, but we put things back in order by making sure that each bear gets the right bowl of porridge and the right amount of milk to drink.
