Today, we are having fun outside on a spring day. All of our friends are there: even Side Table Drawer has come out to do some bird-watching. We have fun doing things like looking for four-leaf clovers and exploring the vast backyard of the Blue's Clues house. In a Blue Skidoo segment, we help out a friend named Windy who has blown around things from all the different seasons, getting them all mixed up.

The second half of nature/nurture was looked at in the second season episode "Nurture!"
(edit)
One of the first and possibly the first appearance(s) of the Season 3/4 "Quiet" opening. Rather than opening with Steve asking the viewers to find Blue, instead the opening music plays as the camera zooms in on the Blue's Clues house and then Steve appears in front of it, outside.
(edit)
Rishay Livemond receives a rare character name credit for her role as the voice of Windy. David Burger is credited as "Duke" David Burger and Robert Iredale is credited as Robert A. Iredale.
(edit)
Mailtime Segment: Since we're outside, Steve decides that it would be fun for us to surprise Mailbox by getting the mail outside. Mailbox is quite surprised and also has a surprise of his own: a special nature letter. In the letter, a group of boys, along with an accompanying father, search for things in nature. They spot some ducks and feed them, they see some beetles and flowers and also find a ladybug.
(edit)
Steve: You know, four-leaf clovers are so cool. First of all, they're green and second of all, they have four leaves.
(edit)
Steve: Funny, I never noticed those mountains before.
(edit)
Kid: A clue.
Steve: Yeah, it is great to be outside.
Kid: A clue!
Steve: Oh, don't worry. We can find clues outside too. (edit)

As the game of Blue's Clues is held outside in this episode, a Thinking Rock is used in place of the Thinking Chair.
