I remember when I was little, Steve said during one of his episodes that this was his last and he was leaving for college. Is that really what happened? And if not, what happened to him?

Last I saw Steve (and this was about a year ago, maybe?) he was in a band. There was an article in TV Guide (last year). He said he wanted to move on from Blue's Clues.

Funny, about a month ago, my 9-year-old said to me shouldn't Steve be done with college? Will he come back? So I guess there is still a little Blue's Clues magic in our household.

There are going to be people that won't want to say that. Not that I personally have a problem with it, I'm a vet myself. I just know that there are people that don't like the military, and people that would rather not talk about the military with kids. - Well, although Steve leaving for "college" was most unfortunate.. I myself was a blues clues fan.. and every now and then don't mind seeing an original ep..... the thing is that the whole college thing has to be the funniest thing I've ever heard of becuase, You see, what really happened was that Steve asked for a raise.. and they fired him.
