1. What is the point of the show | 02/09/2006 4:14pm
The whole entire time they make salt shakers and other non moving objects talk. Then they have a blue dog, seriously when were dogs blue. There is also some guy trying to look for a wat to find his dog that always seems to run away. How is this show still on TV.

It's a Children's show, there needs to be Children's show (for kids around 1-5). Enough said...

My kids have learned so much from this show. They learned ABC's, how to count, shapes, colors. Between this show and Dora, they have really gown academically.

it's a kids show. they dont really even know that blue colored dogs arent real or whatever. plus it does teach them stuff like numbers and abc's...

the point of the show is to give parents and bigger siblings a headache and then show commercials for tylenol. It's effective too.

What is the point of this thread?

I mean come on, someone doesn't "get" what Blue's Clues' point is? It's a children's show the same as Sesame Street. I mean we don't see 9-10 ft tall talking birds or hairy talking monsters in garbage pails do we?

I'd answer the question if I thought it was serious, but it obviously isn't.

1. I still love Blue's Clues.

2. The point is to teach preschoolers and younger (my 2 year old nephew loves it, and I'm 11 and still learn from it even though I'm smarter than  the average 6th grader and I just got out of 5th)

Anyway, Blue's Clues is an awesome show, and it's still on because of that.

I still love Blue's Clues and I'm 20! It wasn't even on when I was a kid so I can't claim to like it from then I started watching it with my little sister when she was about 2 or 3 years old and I will still watch it if it's on TV and I'm not doing anything. I admit to yelling at the TV  at times ("A CLUE, A CLUE!") as embarrassing as that is. I preferred it when Steve was on it though!

I'm 16, and sometimes I turn over and watch an episode of Blue's Clues. It makes me smile and remember what it was like watching these in elememtery school. Oh, the good ole' days..

I used to watch it.Now my little sister watches it.It brings back memories of when I used to watch it.
Despite I grew out of it,I still think it's not bad.It does have a point.Every show has a point.People don't make shows just for the sake of making it!
