Steve welcomes us in. He wants to know if we can balance on one foot and shows us that we can. He compliments our doing it (or our attempt) and asks Blue if she can do it. She does, for a little while anyway. She already knows how to do, so she doesn't want to waste time with it right now, although she is interested in doing something else. To keep Steve busy, she throws him three balls to practice juggling. He tries it and decides to start with one because three doesn't seem to be working right away. In this episode, we learn that it's a good idea to keep trying at things to learn them or get better at something you already know. We find Tickety, who wants some help with telling time. We first point out lunchtime by pointing out a sandwich icon and milk that appear on her clockface. Lunchtime at the Blue's Clues house is at noon. We also match a book and a pillow to get bedtime at 7 P.M. Later, we skidoo into Storybook Forest. We find Baby Bear, who is trying to figure out what she could be when she grows up. She likes painting, so she could be an artist. She has fun building with blocks, so she could perhaps be a house builder. She also likes scribbling on lined paper and might have a future in writing. Ultimately, she can be anything that she wants to be. Finally, in the backyard, we find some animals and help find their parents by figuring out what they'll look like when they grow up. We find a spider who's trying to spin a web. It turns out that her Dad spins great webs and looks like a larger version of her. We find a caterpillar and match him up with his grandmother, a butterfly. Finally, we find a tadpole's mother - a frog.
In this episode, Steve plays Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to try to do. The three clues in this episode are:
