To play Blue's Clues, we have to find a pawprint and then put it in our... (sound of record needle scratching off its groove) potato? That's just one of the silly things happening in the Blue's Clues house in this episode. Steve does his best to be silly, putting a shoe on his head and ear, wearing funny clown hair, speaking as sock puppet and more. As we hunt for Blue's Clues, we come across Shovel and Pail. They're watching Gopher pop up in the backyard, but they're having trouble figuring out where he's going to pop up. We learn about patterns: that if there's something in a common between a few different objects in a set, then you can figure out the next one based on that theme. Using this knowledge, we figure out that gopher moves in a color pattern. He then goes for a shape pattern and then a pattern of things that fly. It would seem that we've finally outsmarted him. Later, after some more goofy fun, we skiddoo into a crazy world called Sillytown. We meet up with the mayor Billy Chicken and discover all sorts of silly things happening in the town. We find a builder at a construction site using a banana for a hammer, a truck that whinnies like a horse and a giraffe going up a slide. Once we're finished, we return to the Blue's Clues house in the hope of normalcy, only to find Mr. Salt acting like Tickety Tock.
In this episode, Steve plays Blue's Clues to figure out what makes Blue laugh. The three clues in this episode are:
Clue 1: A Ball
Clue 2: A Ball
Clue 3: A Ball
Based on one or more of these clues, can you figure out what makes Blue laugh? The correct answer is:
Juggling
