1 June 2007. Geldof does a Bono and edits German tabloid daily Bild as part of his campaign for raising awareness for poverty and Africa. He takes over for 1 day and draws in the voices of his counterparts and friends. (edit) Geldof is soon to make another acting appearance. This time in a short film, written by a friend of his. It is about a Bob Geldof look alike and Bob plays the lookalike. He thinks it's a crazy idea, but obviously likes it too. (edit) Bob Geldof's acting career isn't confined to films. He has appeared in some adverts, including milk, shaving cream and a Police Recruitment add. (edit) Bob Geldof features on a new album from Jools Holland 'Moving out to the Country', doing 2 songs. It is so beautifully written that it has been used as a text book for Cambridge English Literature degree. Even though it is rather dated now, it is still worth a read.
