A Rose for LottaEpisode Number: 1 Season Num: 1 First Aired: September 12, 1959 Prod Code: n/a |
Yvonne DeCarlo was best known as Lily Munster, Herman's wife, on The Munsters (1964-1966).
(edit)
For the first 10 episodes, the ending credits were scrolled over the familiar Ponderosa map with a (very) slightly different instrumental version of the Bonanza theme.
(edit)
A. Earl Hedrick is credited as Earl Hedrick.
(edit)
Ben: Look at it, Adam. Feast thine eyes on a sight that approaches Heaven itself.
(edit)
Hoss: Hop Sing, you know you can't do that. Why if you left here, I'd waste away to a shadow. You know that.
(edit)
For the first and only time in the entire run of the Bonanza TV series is the lyrics to its theme song sung.
(edit)
What does Adam mean to imply when he refers to Joe's mother as "Your French Quarter mother"? Joe and Adam get into a fight over that comment. In future episodes the series goes back and forth on implying about what Marie did before she met Ben, but it was never clarified.
(edit)
Joe tells Lotta that his mother's name was Felicia. This is changed in later episodes to Marie.
(edit)
Hop Ling is Hop Sing's father.
