Quotes

Chinese Elder: Risk is the privilege of youth. (edit)
Hoss: Little Joe, did you ever taste anything like these jailhouse beans?
Joe: Yeah...yeah I'm trying not to remember. (edit)
Sheriff: I won't lie and say I'm not pleased but...to make this thing legal-like I-I better swear you all in as deputies.
Hoss: That's good. Always did want to wear one of them deputy badges, anyhow. (edit)
Adam: America for the Americans. Now there's a pretty tired platform. (edit)

Trivia

add »
Why does Jimmy have a heavy Chinese accent? If we are to assume that he is first generation Chinese, then he should have little or no accent whatsoever. His father has the same English fluency and accent as Jimmy, which is highly unlikely for an adult to develop a foreign language at the same rate and level as a child or adolescent. It would be much more realistic for Mr. Chang to speak broken English, if any at all, if he'd only lived in America for a short time. If he'd been there longer, then Jimmy should have no accent. (edit)
This is the first time that Hoss wears a deputy badge. (edit)
Amanda Ridley is one of Adam's old girlfriends. (edit)
The name of the store where some of the action takes place is Hammond's Dry Goods Store. (edit)
We find out that Joe doesn't like jailhouse beans. (edit)

Bad
The Fear Merchants
"Painful to watch"
Not even the Cartwrights are able to save Virginia City from some deplorable acting, stereotyped ethnicity, and a mickey mouse script.
