Hoss: Hey Joe, look, won't you do me and Adam a really big favor and loan us that money?
Joe: Security.
Adam: You'll own a third of the horse.
Joe: Security.
Hoss: Joe, you can't lose!
Joe: Security. (edit) Lafe: Oh, well Hoss had a little bad luck too. He lost one-hundred and sixty dollars.
Adam: Why don't you sue him for it?
Lafe: Oh, I wouldn't sue him for it, I'd just sell the horse.
Adam: You'll what?
Hoss: Adam, look, after I borrowed that first hundred, Lafe here made me up the horse for security on the rest of it.
Adam: Security?
Lafe: Yeah....security.
Hoss: Yeah, security. (edit) Joe: Alright, what's it all about? You two certainly didn't come over here just to visit.
Hoss: Why else would we, little brother?
Joe: Well, because it's a long ride from the Ponderosa and we grew up together, remember?
Adam: You know, I think our little brother is losing a little respect for his elders since he began making all that money.
Hoss: You're right, Adam, he's getting plum smart-alecky.
Joe: Oh boy, talk like that sounds like you're about one foot away from cattle-rustling. (edit) Adam: (to Hoss) You know, if you weren't so big I'd poke you one right in the mouth. (edit) Adam: (to Hoss) Next time you feel lucky, let me know so I can lock you up somewhere. (edit)
