Brennan: Wait, wait. You're negotiating to put this guy in jail?!
Booth: I'll sweeten the pot. Charge you with Mount's death too. Let you hire, uh, one of those moron lawyers. And, uh, you'll be thrown in, uh, in lockup for, what, maybe a month?
Rulz: Sweet.
Brennan: Where am I, in backwards world? (edit) Brennan: You did not murder Eve Warren.
Rulz: This is a weird kind of interrogation, huh? Cops telling me what I didn't do. (edit) (Brennan is petting Tudy, a cadaver dog)
Brennan: Tudy has traveled the world finding dead bodies.
Booth: Does Tudy always drool like that? (Brennan and the dog keeper give him a stare) What? I'm gonna hurt her, (takes a better look) his feelings?
Dog Keeper: Tudy is the best cadaver dog in the world, Agent Booth.
Brennan: It's true. If you were a dead body, you'd want Tudy looking for you. (edit) Booth: I don't like parrots. No, people should really, really do all the talking. (edit) Angela: Get this. I called Tessa to tell her a couple of places she should check out in Jamaica, she's not going.
Brennan: What happened?
Angela: Well, she said something came up at work but I know the truth.
Brennan: What truth?
Angela: They got freaked out by stage six.
Brennan: Which, what stage six?
Angela: 1. Spend the night. 2. Spend the weekend. 3. Exchange keys. 4. Sexy weekend getaway. 5. Extended vacation, inevitably followed by 6. Move in together.
Brennan: I'm an anthropologist, I know the stages of everything. You just made those up.
Angela: I did not.
Brennan: Yes, you did.
Angela: They got to stage five and they balked.
Brennan: Not Booth. Booth did not balk.
Angela: Sweety, it's always the guy.
Brennan: Booth is not a balker. (edit)

Brennan: Angela said rap artists sometimes kill each other over the music: Jam Master Jay, Tupac, Biggie.

Brennan is mentioning the names of Americans singers who were murdered in gang-related shootings. Jam Master Jay was a hip hop singer shot on October 30, 2002 in New York. Tupac was a rapper shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas who died a few days later on September 13, 1996. Biggie (The Notorious B.I.G.) was a rapper and hip hop singer killed in a drive-by shooting on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles. Despite what Angela said, there is no proof that any of these men died as a result of music-related issues. (edit) At 38:25 a clip of Bones is an obvious insert; film quality is poor compared to the rest of the scene. (edit) At 2:03, when a lady is arguing with Bones, her lips visibly say the word "bitch," but this utterance was dubbed over with "fool." (edit) This episode marks the end of Booth's relationship with Tessa. (edit) In this episode Brennan and Angela discover the grave of a man in a wall. In the fifth episode of Angel, also starring David Boreanaz, the body of a young man who was murdered by his mother was also discovered in a wall. (edit)

King Tut or Tutankhamun was an Egyptian Pharaoh from the 18th Dynasty who ruled ancient Egypt for 10 years. Booth is being sarcastic as the man Brennan discovered behind the wall was mummified like most Pharaohs were. (edit) Rulz: What's the FBI recruiting from America's Top Model now?

It is an allusion to a The CW reality show created by Tyra Banks which is called America's Next Top Model. The judges look for girls who want to pursue careers as supermodels and have what it takes to make it in the business, but only one girl can win during each season. (edit) Angela: Pepe Le Pew is more important then booze and boys.

Pepe Le Pew is a Looney Tunes character in the Warner Bros. series of cartoons. Pepe is a French skunk who in the springtime starts to search for new love in Paris. This is a sarcastic allusion on Angela's part as it is her response to Brennan's desire to catalogue a skull from the French Revolution. (edit) Booth: Let's just say your boss inhaled.

A funny allusion to Bill Clinton's famous admission that he had experimented with marijuana whilst in England, but that he had never inhaled. (edit) Brennan: I've done my Googling.
