  Another show that says bad words a lot. hide « show »

  I like Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen Hunger Force and they are on Adult Swim,including this one.The Boondocks is a funny show.Of course,whoever made this show,he maybe did it too well on the bad word thing.This is something that is cussing a lot.But I love this show and it's plot of the episodes.The characters are funny and Reily is the funniest character ever of all time.Not so terrible is what I score this show of.Or Die Tryin was the funniest episode I've seen.Now,I believe that this episode should have new episodes again.I love this show and I give it a A.

  This show always stays funny. It is very informative. It gets better every season, and it is one of the funniest animated series I have ever seen. All of my friends love and we talk about it all the time. It has very good characters. It has great stories. hide « show »

  Boondocks is a very informative show, and shows how some things are in the world. It's story plots always show there messages in a good way. The boondocks characters are very funny and all have an important part in the episodes. One thing that I do not like about the show is that, one , it has a little bit to much profanity. That is why it is probably the only reason it is shown on Adult Swim. Sometimes there are inapropriate images, even though ther animated. In conclusion, I think that "The Boondocks" is a great show for laughter.

  this show really dose give insite to the african american culture. hide « show »

  the first time i noticed the boondocks was in the sunday edition comic section of the daily news paper.At first glance at the comic strip one thinks it's just some stupid comic about urban life.Then to my dissmay as i read the comic i found my self laughing out loud as if i were watching a cult-classic comedy movie(animal house,american pie,scary movie)Anyway i then found out that the urban style comic will become a cartoon on the cartoon network chanel.Soon enough i saw the the series premier and boy what an episode!.the show not only tells the story of two young black american youths that partly grew up in the urban hood to then movie with thier grandfather to the white suburbs.It also shows how diferent the two brothers are riley for instance is the average mini-thug that loves rap,black controversy,and anything thats vast in modern black life style,huey on the other hand looks up to great african american ideilist like malcome x,and martian luther king jr.Huey also wants to change all the wrong doings of the government to his people(african americans),also he often trys in his own ways to bring apoon revolution so that blacks can be free from the mentallity and the stero-typical morbid image that they portray them selves as.
  
  in conclusion if you watch at lest one episode of the show you'll see and understand what i mean when i say that it is very much indeed infromative and influential and yes this show dose make you think about life and the reallity of it.

  To all those who have dissenting opinions about this show:
  
  This show is stereotypical, and that's what makes it hilarious. Did you want to watch normal black people instead? Or perhaps you wanted them to slip black people into an anime and have them act normal with the only difference being the skin color? Get over yourselves, it's just comedy... If you don't like that kind of humor, don't give other people grief and act like your opinion is THE truth, it's YOUR opinion. I don't have a single friend that acts like any of these characters and thats what makes it hilarious to me. I deal with normal people everyday, I don't wanna go home after a long day of work and watch normal people again!! (that's a Patton Oswalt reference btw) I don't care what ethnicity you are, you should be laughing your asses off, because it's so ridiculously funny. If you thought you'd learn something about blacks watching this show, then that makes you a one dimensional character.

  It's good when you're bored. I mean, it's targeted to people from the human race.
  
  Don't get me wrong. There is some reasons why it has a TVMA. It uses what racism is. Therefore, you know it is targeted to the human race. Because you got the Boondocks.
  
  Hell yeah if I like it. This is a good show. This is far by the best show when it looks like anime. Really.
  
  But there is a controversy. And you know what I mean... BET. No, the show is not against BET, okay?
  
  Raccoon: What?
  
  And no, not the raccoon either.
  
  What I mean by controversal, I mean 2 episodes. These are two-parter with both "Hunger Strike" and "The Uncle Ruckus Show."
  
  [adult swim] didn't need to air them. Really. I think there are a lot of critisms in these episodes. Even [adult swim] didn't like it.
  
  Mike Lazzo: And then, we apologized.
  
  It's because Canada wants to air 'em. Man, Canada is strong.
  
  But, it's still in the US when you buy it on DVD from Sony Pictures.
  
  But, besides all that controversy, this show is and will be popular. Overall: It's funny, but not as funny as the second season episodes. I'll tell y'all that right now. It's the best show like "The Chapelle Show," "Roots," "Oprah," and the upcoming "Chocolate News." And I am not kidding. Because, we like the Freeman family.
