Just like William Shatner and Rene Auberjonois, Jeri Ryan was on the main cast of a Star Trek TV series (Star Trek: Voyager).

Denny: Shirley, this is a sweeps episode.
Shirley: I'm not kissing you. (edit) Alan: To next season, my Friend.
Denny: Same night?
Alan: God, I hope (edit) (Discussing his cancer treatment with Denise)
Daniel: You wouldn't have wanted to see me. I was at least 7% less cute. (edit) Alan: There used to be a day when the pandering in our society was reserved for…
Denny: Politicians?
Alan: (laughs) Maybe that’s what bothers me. Hollywood has sunk to the level of congress. (edit) Alan: To more travels, Denny.
Denny: To the mountains…
Alan: Prairies…
Denny: Whores
Alan: America the beautiful. (edit)

At Crane Poole & Schmidt's LA office, Courtney shows its location as the corner of Ocean Ave and Arizona Ave, using her fansite getcourtney.com. This is north of Santa Monica pier. However, later when Denny and Alan are on the building rooftop they are shown to be south of Santa Monica Pier.
(edit)
Denise turns Marlene's Blackberry face-down, then slides it off the table into the garbage. However, when Marlene plays the video back to Paul, Denise's face is visible and you see her sliding it into the garbage (the Blackberry would have had to been facing up to see her face).
(edit)
In Alan's closing argument, he mentions the shooting of Rebecca Schaeffer.
Rebecca Schaeffer was shot and killed by Robert John Bardo, an obsessive fan who stalked her for three years through letters. He eventually got her home address from a detective agency which obtained her residence information from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). (edit) Alan: To next season, my friend
Denny: Same Night?
Alan: God, I hope.
Alludes to the series shift from last season’s time slot on Sunday to this season on Tuesday night. (edit)
