  • In the scene where Judge Brown's mother is in the courtroom, in one shot, there is a boom mike visible above Alan's head for a fraction of a second. edit »
  • When Paul leaves the room filled with the judges the camera moves towards him. It then goes back to Alan and behind him you see the table where the judges sat, but there are no judges there. edit »
  • Although they weren't in any scenes together in this episode, Rhona Mitra and guest star Bruno Campos played sibling serial killers, Kit McGraw and Quentin Costas, on the 3rd season of Nip/Tuck. edit »
  • Starting from this episode, the opening credits does not feature any kind of illustration at all. edit »
  • Alan: Oh, dear. Am I in trouble?
Lori: Let me guess. You send my client to a mob doctor working in the back room of some underworld casino you frequent.
Alan: I'm sorry to say the reality is far less colorful, but I applaud your imagination. edit »
  • Paul: (to Lori) Well, as you know, my personal policy is always to remove bullets immediately after I'm shot. edit »
  • Judge Brown: Do you know what my mother would call you? A namby-pamby. Weak and spineless, bellyaching about some trumped up medical excuse. edit »
  • Judge Lang: This is highly unusual Mr. Shore. Seeking to discipline a judge for imposing a sentence your client agreed to.
Alan: I suspect we’d all agree to a good beating in order to avoid a prison sentence but your honors we are not in Singapore. edit »
  • Denny: Hell if I had a nickel for every woman I’d promise to marry in exchange for sex…actually I do. edit »
