James Coburn and John Marley would later go onto appear with each other on an episode of Perry Mason entitled The Case of the Angry Astronaut. Ironically, in that episode, Coburn was the murder victim and Marley played the culprit. (edit) This episode has the classic example of a dumb villain in James Coburn's character. Griffin: He's as nervous as a pig on ice. (edit) Griffin: What happened? Didn't you like the show?
Rex: I just thought I'd take a chance on finding a better one. (edit) Griffin (about Kroger): How's he doing?
Wellington: About three quarters through. The applause must be holding him up. (edit) Gloria: There's something about a murder that always makes me thirsty. (edit) Wellington (to Griffin): We didn't come here for a cocktail party. (edit) Wellington (after Buzz knocks out Kenny): What's happened now?
Rex: The convicts have a new recruit. (edit) Wellington: This isn't funny. Not any longer.
Rex: That's right, Mr. Wellington. Mass murder is no joke.
Griffin: Aw, shut up! (edit) Kenny (after coming to): What happened?
Rex: You just stopped by to pick up your Blackstone. The hard way. (edit) Cal: What does that Buzz stand for, Griffin--buzzard? (edit) Gloria (to Griffin): You handle your liquor very well. I like that kind of man. (edit)

James Coburn's character mentions that he'll probably have to hide out in Cuba until the heat's off. Evidently, the writers weren't paying much attention to the political events in 1960 Cuba because the Communist Fidel Castro had just seized power there. (edit)
