The final exam schedule has been posted and a lot of people are on edge. English, Chemistry and History are all on the same day with only ten minutes in between. "That's not enough time to study!" Shawn declares. A group of angry bullies express their wish for someone to "get rid" of Mr. Feeny.
Cory gathers a group of students together to consult with Mr. Turner, who agrees to talk to Mr. Feeny about the schedule. Feeny agrees to see a student about the issue, and the group elects Cory. When Cory is unsuccessful, the bullies decide it's time to do things their way.
Resorting to scare tactics, a group of enraged students vandalize Feeny's home. The noise wakes Cory who witnesses Mr. Feeny's sad reaction to the events. The next day, Cory talks to Mr. Feeny, who tells him that the purpose of the rigorous schedule is to help the students store the information more permanently. Feeling he's lost the respect of his students, he tells Cory that he is retiring.
Denny's crew comes to talk to Feeny and suspects Cory of tipping him off as to the identities of the perpetrators (them). Shawn tells them Cory's cool, and wouldn't have squealed. Cory snaps at him about his definition of cool. "I wasn't there," Shawn defends himself. "But you knew about it." "What was I supposed to do, stand up and say 'Stay away from Feeny's house!'?" Cory says Shawn is at least partly responsible for the mess, and when Shawn points out that Cory started the protest in the first place, Cory considers himself responsible too.
Later on, Cory and Topanga are studying when Shawn runs in and tells them that the bullies are up to something at the school. When they arrive at the scene, they witness the mob in the middle of trashing the school. They try to stand up to the bullies and Shawn reveals that he has paid attention to at least one social studies topic, when he cites the Bill of Rights. Mr. Feeny shows up and everybody runs away. He tells Cory, Shawn and Topanga that he's not retiring and the three stick around to help Mr. Feeny clean up.
