This gentle yet mildly surreal sitcom was part of ABC's "TGIF" lineup aimed at pre-teens and early teens. Its tenure lasted from 1993 through its end in 2000. The people in the world of teenager Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) continue to test his theories about life and relationships, on the fourth season of "Boy Meets World."

Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is one person who continues to test Cory's outlook and emotions in the ways of young love. Though they are back together again after a bumpy start, anything could happen when it comes to their relationship.

His best friend, Shawn (Rider Strong), no longer lives with English teacher Jonathan Turner ( Anthony Tyler Quinn), but with his truck-driver dad, who has moved back to town. Cory, who was instrumental in bringing the father and son together, hopes that Shawn's mother will also rejoin the family.

Cory's older brother, Eric (Will Friedle), failed to get accepted to a four-year college, even after all of his amusing yet sincere efforts to do so. He must now figure out if he's either going to make a fresh start living out of town or stay within the comforts of home.


Eric isn't the only one trying to decide what's best for his life. Their dad (William Russ) is also at a point where he must decide his future. He's worked at the grocery store since his teenage years and wonders if it isn't time to explore a different career. Fortunately, there's always Cory's mom, Amy (Betsy Randle), to give everyone guidance and all sorts of helpful advice; and his little sister, Morgan (Lindsay Ridgeway), to add her ten-year-old point of view.

At high school, the ever-present and wise Principal George Feeny (William Daniels) continues to make Cory's and Shawn's lives more challenging. The principal even gets involved with former student Eric as he makes some educational decisions. Feeny, who still lives next door to the Matthews, has a unique way of always seeming to know what unpredictable antics the young men are up to. (ABC Season 4 Press Release)less «

  Hi everyone, First off, I'd like to apologize for my absence. I had planned to make an active return to the website as soon as school ended, but my computer broke when a door fell on it. I've ordered a new computer, but the estimated shipping date keeps changing. As it stands right now, I won't be getting the computer for another 2 weeks. My room mate has a computer that I use on occasion; but since I don't have access to a computer of my own it would be impossible for me to facilitate the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire - BMW edition" at this time. I am still around. I still check my queue and in a few days I'll be going through the forum and seeing if anything needs to be cleaned up.   Bring this show back!! please!! I loved this show so much as a kid and want to buy the DVDs for all the seasons. This show is tied with the O.C. (seasons 1 and 2) as my favorite show of all time. I could just sit back, relax and step into this show everyday after school. I have seen a lot of people say that the best kids shows were in the 90s and shows these day are going to crap. Well I agree! But, maybe thats because I am biased as a kid growing up from that generation. Anyway bring BMW to DVD!!!!! I miss cory, and cory, and cory, oh and the other actors too!!!

  I liked this show and I watched it plenty of times when I was a kid. I have to admit that I didn't like as much when I first started, but after a period of time, I began to really get hooked. My favorite part of the show had to be where they all end up on the same page at the very end. I liked the fact that it was very much a family comedy until the last couple seasons, when it got a little bit off its values. Overall, this was a good show and was also very entertaining. Thank you.

  This show followed Corey Matthews and friends on their journey from grade school to college. It showed all the crazy things that kids go through. hide « show »

  I adored this show and it is easily a classic in my book! The characters of Corey and Shaun made me laugh every time, especially Shaun. He was by far my favorite character. This show made me excited to grow up! They were always just a little further in school than me and I looked forward to my own experiences because of what I saw on this show. It was realistic but with fun twists. Plus, who could resist the "Feony call"!? It was one of the best parts of the show. I wish this show hadn't ended, but I still love catching the reruns!

  Out of any sitcom that involves teenagers growing into adults this one has got to take the cake. hide « show »

  This is undoubtedly for me my most favorite show that was on anywhere. This show showed a young adolescent growing into teenager and then eventually to an adult. I remember back in the day when I used to stay up to 2 in the morning just to watch this show because of its awesomeness. I know it was on other channels but for some reason I just loved to stay up late just to watch it. It gave me an excuse and an incentive to stay up late. I just love this show and wish I could watch the whole series. I watched a good 85% or so because every time it got to a part that I didn't see school started so I had to readjust my sleep time. But now it's not on any channel and that makes me sad. But, if I hadn't said this enough yet, I just love this show and wished the could have made this when I was mature enough to understand this. It seems that all the good shows and sitcoms started some time in the 90s.

  Boy Meets World follows kid Corey Matthews, his best friend Shawn, his childhood friend and girlfriend Topanga, as well as his Family, Classmates and Principle through life in Philadelphia. hide « show »

  Boy Meets World was apart of the great TGIF lineup on ABC from 1993-2000. This show was different from others because the show managed to keep all of the main characters through the years, with changing up the surroundings and side characters. From Middle school all the way through College, They keep Corey, Topanga and Shawn evolving. In my opinion the show gets better as the years go on. I love how they developed Eric into more of a main character, while bringing in Jack and Rachel to make a funny apartment. Not only was the show funny, but it brought more aspects from other things besides comedy. There were so many good serious episodes. Most of the serious episodes dealt with Shawn. Shawn got drunk, When Shawn's dad died, Shawn joining a cult, and when Mr. Turner was involved in a motorcycle accident. They mixed the comedy with sadness very well, and some episodes were really emotional. The show was very good, especially for being a Friday night teen show. I gave Boy Meets World and 8.5 out of 10!
