Cory: I said this is gonna be cool, Mr. Feeny.
Mr. Feeny: Why?
Cory: Cause you're finally gonna nail Topanga for being weird.
Mr. Feeny: Do you think it's weird to engage in social protest?
Cory: I think it's weird to pick on me when she didn't say the Pledge of Allegiance. (edit) Alan (about the Unicorn Rainbow bookstore): These guys are much too Zen for baseball. I mean, these guys are people with inner peace and spiritual tranquility. Let's kill 'em! (edit) Cory: What if Dad starts joking around about how nervous he is that you're getting your drivers license next year? I'd have to calm him down by saying "Eric's driven your car around the block a thousand times and nothings ever happened."
Eric: You wouldn't.
Cory: I would.
Eric: You wouldn't.
Cory: I would.
Eric: You wouldn't.
Cory: What are you, new? (edit) Cory: Hey Mom, this cereal is bogus, where's my blue sugar moons? Where're my yellow teddy bears? All this is is hamster food and cornflake dust.
Amy: Morgan.
Cory: She took all the good stuff.
Morgan: I've been up since 6 o' clock!
Amy: What is this sugar coated, sugar?
Morgan: I'm feeling very perky!
Amy: Come on, Morgan, let's get you into bed.
Morgan: How come? How come? How come how come how come?
Amy: Because if we hurry we might just make it before the coma.
Morgan: Coma? Coma? Coma coma coma?
Alan: Don't waste this, honey, have her paint the house. (edit) Cory: Friday, I love Friday. Soon I'm gonna' be home for the whole weekend.
Amy: Friday, I hate Friday. Soon you're gonna' be home for the whole weekend.
Cory: Oh, you love me.
Amy: Oh, you wish. (edit)

Eric: It's like "The Gift of the Magi," except we didn't get him anything.
"The Gift of the Magi" is the short story where a married couple each exchanges their most valued possession in order to buy the other one a Christmas gift. Ironically, the Christmas gift they buy the other person is for their spouse's most treasured item. (edit) In this episode, Topanga's father works at the Unicorn Rainbow bookstore. Later, it is revealed that he works as a luthier (someone who makes or repairs stringed instruments), specializing in guitars. (edit) When the bell rings after Mr. Feeny's first class, Cory doesn't take his books, even though everyone else does. (edit)
