I felt John Glover was the perfect choice to play the Devil, with a wry, sarcastic wit. He added much to the show as he does (or did, I haven't seen much of him lately) for anything he's in.

Anyone else who could play the Devil?
Realistically? I don't think Anthony Hopkins would do TV?

He's also excellent as Lionel Luthor, another satan-esque character, in Smallville.

I totally didn't realize that he played both those parts. I loved this show when it was on and I never thought about Glover being both those parts. I hope that one day this will be avaliable on DVD.

He was great in this part. Every place I've seen him since, I have to just take a moment and laugh 'cause I always remember him as the devil, hehe. Though I don't watch Smallville, but I've seen him there. Yeah, it's kind of a similar part, I guess.

John Glover was awesome as the devil!!!  Does anyone remember when he played his brother, who was an angel?  He did a great job playing both roles, it was great.  I really miss this show!!!  I hope they put it out on DVD!!!

his version of the Devil making him not to be evil incanite but just a guy with loose morals was very refreshing. I don't like when the battle between good and evil is black and white. He made you not like him but at least understand his views if even you still don't agreee with any of them
