If you're a fan of Daytime television, then chances are you've seen Brody Hutzler, who starred on Days of our Lives playing Patrick Lockart, brother of Mimi and son to Bonnie, from 2004 until 2006.
Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, Brody is a self-proclaimed “Air Force brat” who has lived in Alaska, Colorado, Ohio, New York, Hawaii, Vermont and Michigan. He attended Michigan State University to play lacrosse and studied biology. He has one sister who lives with her husband in Vermont.
Brody’s first acting job was as “Craig,” the date-rapist, on an episode of NBC’s popular Saturday morning hit, Saved by the Bell. Other television credits include 7th Heaven, I’m With Her, She Spies, Ally McBeal, Charmed and Angel, in which he played the demon ‘Landok’ in multiple episodes. Brody enjoys travelling to Angel conventions overseas and continues to do so twice a year. His favourite destination to date is London. Film credits include Totally Blonde and Legally Blonde. Most recently Brody was seen as ‘Cody Dixon’ on the CBS daytime drama Young and the Restless and has also appeared in As the World Turns.
Brody credits Alan Alda in M*A*S*H as his acting inspiration, saying that Alda just made acting look so easy.
Brody is single and lives with his cat, Spooky. He enjoys reading, playing guitar, eating and most sports especially tennis, soccer, skiing and boxing. Brody has a collection of European league soccer jerseys as well as an extensive collection of hats to which he is always adding! For a number of years Brody has played in the NBA Entertainment Basketball League. Brody lives in Los Angeles, USA.
