From Danny Antonucci, the creator of the hit show Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy, comes The Brothers Grunt! This short-lived comedy series featuring six brothers (Frank, Perry, Tony, Bing, Dean and Sammy, named after Antonucci's favorite singers) started out as a simple MTV station ID that got so much fan response MTV ordered 65 episodes on the spot and began selling merchandise. The show was peculiar in the way that none of the main characters spoke English. They only grunted, and subtitles were used to show what they meant. They all who wear Bermuda shorts and wing-tipped shoes and belong to a commune/monastery/cult run by the Gruntas Poobah. The action begins when Perry escapes through an underground tunnel and his five brothers are sent to bring him back before he is corrupted by the outside world. The show never hit it big with the fans and was cancelled after the third season, flung into obscurity.less «

  A Really Wierd Show, From the Creators of Ed Edd n Eddy and A.K.A Cartoon. hide « show »

  One of the wierdest shows ever made. It was released on MTV, and it was similar to the show "Beavis and Butt-Head". Thuis show only lived for a year and ended to quickly with over 35 episodes produced and televised. This is one of the wierdest shows i've ever seen, mostly every episode didn't make any sense at all. And i remember it gave me nightmares. Also the intro title cards are related to the "Ed Edd n Eddy" title cards. I never really liked this show that much because mostly it was just about weirdness. Overall, this show is good sometimes and bad sometimes.

  This show was supposed to be like Beavis and Butthead. And they're named after Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Tony Bennet, and Perry Como. They all lived in a sewer I think? All I knew was the Ren and Stimpy-like animation. Viacom should make an Adult Swim competitor on Nicktoons Telivision and call it Nick after-hours. (Or take out the new Nick at Nite and put adult animated programs in its place.) I think it would be perfect. Then they can show Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Beavis and Butt-Head, The Story of the Brothers Grunt, South Park, Drawn Together, Duckman, Dilbert, Daria, and The Critic. That would be interesting.

  i realy want to watch this show badly but has any one scean this show its allmost inposseble to find clips of this show i realy want to see a episode someone on you tube needs to post clips of the brother grunt well thats my review bye.
