In 2007, Bruce appeared in a series of commercials for "Old Spice" cologne. In one of them he performs a lounge version of Duran Duran's Hungry Like the Wolf to a group of beautiful young women. In another commercial he talks about those who have experience & those who don't. In the commercial the Necronomicon & Ash Williams chainsaw are visible in the background. (edit) Bruce starred in the Sci Fi Channel movie Alien Apocalypse alongside Renee O'Connor. (edit) Bruce's wife called him one Saturday night while he was down in New Zealand and asked him what he was doing. He said that he was playing poker with Kevin Smith and Kevin Sorbo. She laughed, and said that the women of the world would be amazed that those two hunks had nothing better to do on a Saturday night. (edit) When they created the show "Jack of All Trades" they meant Bruce to play a dashing Englishman in the time of Queen Elizabeth I. But Bruce went to the Producers and told them that since he always played himself regardless of the role, they had better make Jack an American. They did. (edit) Lucy Lawless went to a Bruce Campbell book signing for his book If Chins Could Kill in disguise and began gushing about how huge a fan of his she was. She had him completely fooled for a few minutes, but eventually he signed her book with, "... That's when my jaw dropped. Lucy Lawless, that stealthy Warrior Princess, fooled me- hook, line, and sinker." (edit)

Bruce Campbell: (after the cancellation of "Jack of All Trades") I'm never hurt by cancellations if I've given it my all. On Jack of All Trades, l can safely say that everyone involved gave 110 percent. If the ratings weren't good enough for the show to stay on the air, then so be it. I won't play the blame game- that's so easy to get into. I can also claim my personal life back for a while, so in that sense there's no harm done whatsoever. (edit) Bruce: Folks always want some future incarnation of canceled cult shows (like Brisco County, Jr), but I can stand on record by saying that old television shows age like anything in television land. Nobody on the corporate level wants to be associated with a loser, and since they finance the shows, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. (edit) Bruce Campbell: (on working on "Xena" and "Hercules") I was spoiled by working on those shows because of the professionalism of the main actors. Working on Xena and Hercules was always virtually problem free, and the producers were very accommodating. The US productions I've been involved in since have been a bit of an eye opener as far as work ethics go. But that's enough said on that subject. (edit) Bruce Campbell: I guess I'm just a simpleton, but when I was a kid in the 60's, playing in the dirt was enough to pass countless hours and I wasn't even raised by wolves. (edit) Bruce Campbell: Maybe too much excitement is hazardous to our health. That may be an absurd statement coming from someone who makes his living in the same industry, but I'm serious. (edit)
