Angel arrives with an amulet which may be a weapon against the First. The battle-lines are drawn and the gang spends the night preparing for the final confrontation. A confrontation that some may not survive. Armed with an amulet they know nothing about, a scythe which holds the key to the Slayer line, and magicks which they may not be able to control, they prepare to face the assembled armies of the First Evil.
In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer. Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Buffy Summers, The Chosen One, the one girl in all the world with the strength and skill to fight the vampires. With… More the help of her close friends, Willow (Alyson Hannigan), Xander (Nicholas Brendon), and her Watcher Giles (Anthony Stewart Head), she balances slaying, family, friendships, and relationships. For five years Buffy slayed vampires on the WB; then for her last two seasons she went to UPN. Theme music by Nerf Herder .
Hi Guys, I've mentioned Anya before, but this time I'm asking what you think were Buffy's best lines. Tell me. :)
I saw this on the FRIENDS forum and thought it would be fun to repost it on the Buffy forum. The point of the forum is someone makes a statement the a person says whether they agree or disagree with the statement and a quick reason why. Then say your own statment. The Pack is the worst… More episode in the series
Hi Guys, As I have just mentioned in a previous post, the very first episode of "Buffy"premiered on American television 13 years ago today. That got me to thinking about how it just doesn't seem that long and THEN I started reliving my favorite "Buffy" moments. Obviously, we all had many, many… More favorite episodes, scenes and pieces of dialogue, but I think my very favorite moment was when Buffy's voice over was talking to Dawn about being brave and living, for her, at the end of The Gift. As far as I can recall, it was the only time, apart from at the end of Grave when I actually cried. (Which is my SECOND favorite moment.) So, that's my personal favorite special Buffy moment. What's yours? LL
Buffy Summers is just your regular teenage girl... not! She's the toughest girl you will ever meet, and every vampire in Sunnydale knows that. hide show
Inspired by the box office movie with the same name, Buffy the Vampire Slayer redefined the vampire genre forever. Forget Twilight, forget Anne Rice, forget everything! This girl sent vampires back to their coffins with one hand behind her back, and with her eyes folded! But she was not alone. To help her, she has the Scoobies (not Mystery Inc. and Scooby-Doo if that's what you're thinking.), a group of people who help her fight evil vampires and creatures from the dephts of Hell. They are Buffy's friends Xander Harris, Willow Rosenberg and Cordelia Chase, Angel and Spike the vampires, Daniel "Oz" Osbourne, and Dawn Summers, not forgetting Giles, the Watcher and Buffy's right arm when things get a turn for the worst. The cast was amazing. Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Borenaz, Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brandon, Anthony Head, Charisma Carpenter, Seth Green, Michelle Tranchtenberg, James Marsters and many more were amazing, portraying all the amazing characters that appeared in the series. Maybe it was not perfect in every aspect, but the fact of Buffy and the Scoobies not fighting just vampires, but all kind of supernatural creatures gave the series a fresh humour and ideas of what they were going to do next. Some people think, and I definitely support that fact that this series inspired Eric Kripke's Supernatural. Too bad it's over, but at least we can still read Buffy and gang's adventures in the comic books, which are the official continuation of the series.
A big 10, no doubt about it!
In every generation a Slayer is born... And Buffy Summers is that Slayer! In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy Summers must protect Sunnydale from all sorts of evil bad things. And the fact that she lives on a Hellmouth doesnt help! hide show
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a totally awsome show. It's about Buffy Summers the Vampire Slayer! And with her Scooby Gang together they protect Sunnydale from what goes dump in the night. Vampires, Demons, and all sorts of evil can never win if the slayer comes to play! If I could find words to decribe how awsome Buffy is I would but sadly its imposible because Buffy is too awsome for words! All I can say to people who want to try Buffy is... If you want to watch a awsome show thats funny, mysterious, romantic, and just plan awsomely intresting then Buffy is 100% the show to watch! So watch it or else... You dont want to miss the slayer!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a show that follows the life of Buffy Summers as she tries to carry out a normal existence, all while fighting the forces of evil as the Slayer. hide show
Although it is a relatively older television show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer easily rivals all of the top programs on air today. It's messages transcend time to speak to viewers of all ages and eras. I know that in ten years, Buffy will still be as influential, and brilliant as it was during its original airing. The show's creator, Joss Whedon, does an amazing job of mixing in snarky humor and a few grave social matters, all while keeping the series dark, entertaining, suspenseful, thrilling, etc. Each season keeps you on the edge of your seat and almost every individual episode will undoubtedly leave you wanting more. I consider myself lucky for not having started watching the series until it's ending. If I'd had to wait for each new episode for a week at a time, I honestly don't think I could have held on to my sanity. BtVS is in no way afraid to upset it's audiences by surprisingly killing off or dropping a key character here and there, and this gives the program one of it's many edges, making not getting caught up in the adventures of the Slayer more than a little difficult. With every season, a "big bad" endangers the Slayer, her friends, and the fate of the world. Each "big bad" is refreshingly unique and surprisingly malevolent for a show that qualifies as a comedy at times. I realize that at first glance, the show may sound cheesy, and overrated. I suppose that with all of the Twilight hype, getting into a show about vampires may be a bit difficult. With all of this in mind, I dare you to try the program out, and not enjoy every nail-biting second of it.

this is...great stuff hide show
Wow, that's all i can say about this show. Ya it some cheesy parts but what show doesn't. i never agreed with the vampire aspect of the show but i learned to know vampires by watching this show. come freaking on spike is so awesome and he played piccolo so that's awesome to :). but seriously i don't think i ever enjoyed a TV series as much as i enjoyed this one. you know what i have never like a show as my as this on. the musical episode Once More With Feeling" was so good. One of the songs though the fire is now one of my favorite. and who would have guess Sarah could sing so well. this show had so many sad moments and so many triumphant wins from battle that nearly destroys the world. they even joke in the show about have way to many apocalypses, which they had at least 5 i think...I'll check that later. but seriously if you haven't watch this show watch it i give it a 12 out of ten but it only gives me 10/10 which sucks. my favorite character was spike but i thought Anya was pretty, i never cared for Angel though he actually was one of my least favorite.
