In the scene where Andrew challenges Xander in the alley there is a sound effect that shouldn't be there. The sound of a sword being removed from a scabbard or sheath is heard as Andrew puts his sword to Xander's chin. The sound is heard again as Jonathan puts his sword to Andrew's ear. Both of them are carrying their swords openly and nothing they do accounts for the sound heard. edit »
When Willow appears at the Police station an officer gets out of his patrol car and points at her with his right arm. The camera changes to a side shot and the officer is now pointing with his left arm. edit »
In the opening scene at the Police station the wall clock says 12:26. The scene moves upstairs where the jail cells are and that clock reads 12:20. edit »
Between the time that she leaves Xander, Anya, Jonathan, and Andrew at the Magic Box working on protection spells and and the time that she finds Willow cornering Dawn at Rack's lair, Buffy seems to have pulled her hair back and curled the tendrils framing her face. It seems odd that she would take the time to fix her hair when the world is in danger of ending. edit »

Jonathan compares Willow's rage and power to the comic book villain Dark Phoenix. Jean Grey (also, coincidentally, a redhead) was a mutant with the powers of telepathy and telekinesis. After her apparent death, Jean was "reborn" as The Phoenix, having bonded with a cosmic entity of incalculable power. The Phoenix said that it was "fire and life incarnate." Months later, the illusion casting Mastermind seduced Jean through a psychic rapport hoping to use her powers for his own gain. She eventually broke free, but the exposure to such evil had twisted the once pure Phoenix Force. Jean transformed into the Dark Phoenix, a creature of pure power and destruction. edit »

From George Lucas' Star Wars series, midichlorians are micro-organisms which exist in all living things. A Jedi has many more midichlorians in his or her body and they give the Jedi their powers.
