  • This was a great show! Episode #12?

This was an example of a great show that wasn't given a chance. Does anyone know what happened to Episode #12? It was unaired, but I heard a rumor that it was played by an ABC affiliate in Hawaii. Does anyone know if that's true?

This was a show that got cancelled before it had a chance to get a good footing. hide « show »

"The Byrds of Paradise" was a fantastic family show that didn't get a real chance with ABC. Because it was a mid-season replacement, it didn't get a lot of attention. However, the ratings were very good, considering it was up against "Seinfeld" each week. In fact, the last episode was rated 44, and many shows worse than that carried on. ABC figured they had to decide between "The Byrds of Paradise" and "My So-Called Life," and they picked the latter, which they ended up cancelling the following season, anyway. I think "The Byrds of Paradise" would have lasted longer than that if given the chance. I'm hoping we see this on DVD some day, to include the episode that was never aired.
