Caitlin Seeger is a tough, streetwise orphan from Philadelphia, who thumbs her nose at authority until a run-in with the law forces her to make a pretty tough choice: do some time in juvenile hall or move out to Montana to live with her distant cousins. Even though she doesn't always make the best decisions, this one's a no-brainer. Luckily, her cousins have a son her age and she finds a trusted companion- a horse named Bandit who's even wilder than she is. Learning to live together and respect each other's differences is no easy task for Caitlin and her new family, but her friends, her strong personality and her love of photography help her make it through. Life in Montana may be different than life in the city, but it's definitely an adventure!

Character Guide:

Caitlin Seeger: Deep down, 14-year-old Caitlin Seeger is a really good kid, but years of growing up in a foster home and protecting herself from early disappointments have made her hard-nosed, defensive and independent. A new start in rural Montana with her distant cousins might be the remedy for her years of hard knocks, but the adjustment is going to take time. Caitlin may act a little tough sometimes, but hey, that's just her way.

Griffen Lowe: Griffen is Caitlin's 14-year-old cousin who has a pretty difficult time sharing his home and family with his rebellious relative. Griffen is the uptight good kid to Caitlyn's carefree mischievous kid. An over achiever, Griffen's pretty popular and even started his own rock band--but he still catches a lot of flak from Caitlyn for being too concerned about his future. Though they're very different and they're often at each other's throats, Griffen and Caitlyn learn to trust each other and actually end up becoming close friends.

Dori Lowe: Dori Lowe is a 38-year-old veterinarian and the person most responsible for saving Caitlin from her difficult life in Philadelphia. Of the Lowes, Dori is Caitlin's closest relative, so she believes it's her duty to step in and help. Dori was a city girl who traded skyscrapers for wildlife once too, so she can identify with Caitlyn and becomes a truly positive influence on her cousin's life.

Jim Lowe: Jim is a man of fairness and discipline. As the local sheriff and Caitlin's new father figure, Jim's got a double-shot of trouble getting on Caitlin's good side- she doesn't exactly excel at dealing with authority! But he's a decent and understanding guy, so chances are, he and Caitlin will eventually grow to appreciate each other-and maybe learn a few things about themselves along the way.

Bandit: Saving someone's life is a sure-fire way to make a new friend. When Bandit, a wild buckskin stallion, saves Caitlin from a rabid wolf, he gains a friend for life. Following their extraordinary introduction, Bandit chooses to stay at the Lowe ranch rather than return to the wilds of High River Canyon. Now he's Caitlin's trusted companion, and he's perfect for the job--he'll never share her secrets, and he's a great listener too!

  Lindsay was amazing on Scream Queens earlier this year (VH1)! she definately should have been the winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i couldn't believe they called her a "has been". it was really interesting to see her working in the horror genre. she was the sole reason i watched that show. i was flipping channels, happened to see her, and stopped dead in my tracks! did anyone else see her? what did ya'll think? less «

  In 2008 The N and Noggin will become two seperate networks each broadcasting 24 hours a day. The N is gonna be playing alot more TEENick shows, do you think this will be one of them since it's on The N sometimes?

  This is a classic nick show that I used to love it has a lot of things that make me like it, including that it is different than other nick shows. hide « show »

  This show follows Caitlin Seeger a troubled teenager who is to either go to jail or go to live with some family in Montana, as she has been tossed from foster home to foster home. She reluctanty choses to go live with some of her family in Montana, which she learns to love. This show is very good and I would reccomend it to everyone...... ..... ..... ....... ....... ..... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . .

  Used to be my favorite show hide « show »

  To tell you the truth, I don't remember much about this show. It was so long ago and a lot has happened since then. For my sister and I, this show was our favorite. We watched every episode since it first premiered. We loved the horses! Especially Caitlin's. I loved how Bandit saved Caitlin from a wolf in the first season. It was really cool. I guess the biggest thrill for us was how Caitlin never seemes to do what was expected or told of her. She always did whatever she wanted to do, when she wanted to do it. Her photography was also pretty cool. I guess that's why I like photography now. It was a good show, but it also had some bad points. But then again, what show doesn't?

  I liked this show a lot.It became my favorite some years ago.I remember I usually watched it with my sister and we used to sing the Theme song all day long.I liked Catline.She was a teenager and like everybody else she had problems finding someone she could trust.After all she was a great girl and people that were with her were very lucky.

  I Like This Show, Except For One Thing.... hide « show »

  I really liked Caitlin's Way. Everything is good in it except of the location... and the worst thing of all....
  
  .... Is her cousin... He reminds me of some stupid boxer-wearing annoying pale skinny squeaky voiced mean evil jerk that once signed up for All Advanced Placement classes just like all his other friends did just so they'd all have the same classes together, even though they have grown up together, take sports, and go to parties, so they don't need the classes, and the only thing that they do is cheat off of and be mean to the kids the need to be in the AP classes.....
  
  ..... They both act exactly the same.... and Caitlin should beat him up, and if she did, then that show would be very interesting.....

  This was an amazing show. I wish Nickelodeon would bring it back. It was inspirational in the way that a troubled girl was able to turn her life around. Everyone i knew at the time watched this show. Their kids watched it and my granddaughter watched it. All my granddaughters friends watched it. And it was a good show to watch as a family. It allowed kids to see that just because you make a mistake doesnt mean you cant turn your life around. I loved this show and i was sorry to see it go. I will always miss Caitlin's way and hope they bring it back (or make a spinoff)!
