Apparently Edward hates music.
(edit)
In "Bearly a Vacation", there is an animation mistake during the scene when Nurse Leslie is about to faint to the ground: Nurse Leslie's shirt is not the red shirt he has been wearing on his vacation, but instead is his green nurse's uniform.
(edit)
Lazlo: I think someone needs a vacation. Nurse Leslie: Vacation..what's a vacation?
Lazlo: You don't know what a vacation is? (drops mouth open in surprise) Raj: Maybe Nurse Leslie comes from Europe where vacations are known as holidays. (edit) Nurse Leslie: Don't judge me for crying fellas. DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME!!! Wahhahah!
Lazlo: I think someone needs a vacation...
(edit) Lazlo: Hey Raj?
Raj: Yes lazlo?
Lazlo: How many times can you hop up and down?
Raj: Well, my legs ARE tremendously strong so I will have to say... eleven thousand times.
Lazlo: Yea that sounds about right. How 'bout you Clam?
Clam: Four.
Lazlo: Four?
Raj: No way!
Clam: Four.
(edit) Yeti: And this one goes out to that little platypus chap cowering in the corner. (edit) Edward: Noise pollution is not cool. (edit)

When Lumpus is crying Slinkman's eyes dissappear.
(edit)
First time that the Walrus Bean Scout Camper has been given his real name which turns out to be Freddie.
(edit)
First appearance of Camp Kidney's radio station in an episode segment of Camp Lazlo.
(edit)
First time that an episode segment of Camp Lazlo has revolved primarily around Nurse Leslie.
(edit)
"Turn Off That Racket, You're Driving Me Crazy", the song from "Radio Free Edward", bears a striking resemblance to "Keep A Knockin'" by Little Richard, another song which frequently repeats a line ("Keep a knockin', but ya can't come in!").
(edit)
Edward faking a yeti attack parodies the night of October 30, 1938, when Orson Welles faked an alien attack in New Jersey as he read "War of the Worlds"(Edward used a sound effects record to fake yeti sounds). The war of the Worlds broadcast caused nationwide panic (including suicides and murders). even though the disclaimer that it was a fake was aired 9 times before the broadcast. Another cartoon has parodied the infamous broadcast, Nickelodeon's Hey Arnold! as a Haloween episode
(edit)
The plot of Radio Free Edward is similar to the old fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf. In both cases, someone raises a false alarm to make people pay attention to him. But when something dangerous really does happen, nobody listens to the alarm as they think it's just false again.
(edit)
In "Radio Free Edward", the radio station call letters of KDNY is a reference to the camp name (Kidney without vowels). In real life call letters are used to identify location. Stations west of the Missippi use "K" while "E" is used in the east.
(edit)
Title: Radio Free Edward is a take on a real radio station called Radio Free Europe.
