(edit)
Raj hiccups when he gets nervous
(edit)
Apparently, Lumpus's parents named a comet after him as a present.
(edit)
In this episode, we learn that Squirrel Scout Almondine is an owl.
(edit)
Credits:
The Jelly scouts are spinning the telescope around and around while Scoutmaster Lumpus is on it. Then he becomes very dizzy. (edit)

Lumpus: (sing) Twinkle, twinkle little...... comet. How I wonder what you are.
(edit)
Raj: Don't shoot the moon! We're looney for the luna!
(edit)
Lumpus' Mom: Look, Lumpy honey. I named a comet after you.
Young Lumpus: But I wanted a bicycle.
Lumpus' Father: You are getting a comet and you're gonna like it! (edit) Raj: (staring down the pool) It looks like a peanut! (edit) Almondine: I have not taken my log for a walk in a long time. (edit)

Raj: Don't shoot the moon, we looney for the luna!
This brief singing part by Raj when they thought Lumpus was going to shoot the moon has been extended and is being used out of context for one of the new summer 2006 bumpers for Cartoon Network. The summer theme focuses upon a single easily identifiable character against a red background doing and saying things at commercial breaks or at the start of a new program. (edit) Lumpus's mother and father wears glasses just like him. (edit) Lazlo seems to get in trouble with all the camp counselers (even the lifeguards). (edit) Goof:
When Lumpus says "What do you mean, 'the blanket'?", his glasses are white instead of yellow. (edit) Goof:
When Raj finds out about the marshmallow cake, at first, he has his scout uniform. Then he has his bathing suit. (edit)

Raj running in slow motion is a reference to the TV show "Baywatch".
(edit)
Walk on Water: During the swimming test, Clam walks on the lake. A holy aura sound is heard and the comment "Holy mackerel" is made. This is a reference to the famous story where Jesus Christ walks on water out to his disciples and calls Peter to him which allows him to walk on the water.
(edit)
Swimming Ability Levels: The three-tiered swimming ability level system used to classify the bean scouts (Larva, Sea Cow and Shark) is very much like the system used by the boy scouts, the only difference being the names. (Non-swimmer, Beginner, Swimmer.) The test is taken early in the week and determines what privileges you have at the lake.
