| Writer: | Kaz, Steve Little, Kent Osborne |
| Star: | Steve Little (Chip, Skip), Carlos Alazraqui (Lazlo, Clam), Jeff Bennett (Raj, Samson, Freddie), Mr. Lawrence (Edward), Tom Kenny (Scoutmaster Lumpus, Slinkman) |
| Recurring Role: | Tom Kenny (Manfred) |
Second appearance the Old bean stacking turtle. He appeared previously in Never Bean In A Sub and owned a submarine.
(edit)
This is the second time that Harold has had a starring role in an episode (The first was Strange Trout From Outer Space).
(edit)
Harold and Raj is the second episode (after Meatman) to have most of the episode wind up as a character telling a story.
(edit)
The episode title of "Harold and Raj" is somewhat similar to "Harold and Maude", a 1971 movie.
(edit)
Harold: I'm....Captain banana pants!!!!!!
(edit)
Edward: Wait a minute, flying marshmallows?
Raj: True story.
Edward: Well that was the best story I ever heard! (edit) Harold: All we do is stand in the background and watch the cool guys do stuff. (edit)

This episode also should be before "Campers All Pants Down", because as Edward was naming everyone he pants, he announced Fred as he passed him up,and everyone still doesn't know his name.
(edit)
According to Tarson, Camp Lazlo takes place in the state of California as he said his restaurant's steaks are grown in the steak orchids of California.
(edit)
Chronologically, Harold and Raj must take place between Tusk Wizard & Radio Free Edward as in the latter episode, we learn that the Walrus Scout Camper's name is really Freddie & he announced it to everyone! But in Harold and Raj not only does Raj still not know Freddie's name, Freddie doesn't mind if nobody knows what his name is yet!
(edit)
Tarson seems much nicer in this episode than in previous episodes.
(edit)
Winchester Mystery House:
When Lazlo & his friends set up the Mystery Cabin, it might have been a reference to the well known San Jose, C.A. attraction, the Winchester Mystery House, which is known for being a really weird building with lots of false passages & staircases that lead to no where! (edit) The elephant Raj is flying with in his dream is a depiction of the Hindu god, Ganesha, who is, coincidentally, an elephant with extra limbs. Some of his statues show his extremities bearing weapons of choice. (edit) In "Never Bean On The Map", the scene where Scoutmaster Lumpus is stuffing himself full of meat at the Beef Lumberjack's is similar to the scene from "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life" involving the character Mr. Creosote in which he stuffs himself until he explodes.
