People always insulted this show and said that it was never as good as Rocko's Modern Life. I don't care what they think and I will state my opinion freely.
This show was everything I could wanted out of a cartoon. It was very funny and the characters were cute. The animation and backgrounds were also very beautiful. This is one of the best shows that's been on Cartoon Network in a while and I was really sad to see it go. Now it may be a cliche with talking animals and stuff but this show has an inner beauty and that sets it apart from other television shows. It is not a rip-off of Spongebob. I loved this show and just one more season would make me happy. Most of the crew is working on Flapjack now though so my dream is impossible. Flapjack and Camp Lazlo make me proud.
I use to love drinking soda and watching this show every friday night on cn when they showed new episodes every time at 8:00. I mean it seems like cartoon network really didnt care for this show funny. It was my favorite next to all other good stuff on cn. I just wish they would go back to making new episodes. The last time I saw a new episode of this show was in March 2008 and thats when it ended which was on the Har Har Thursday block on cartoon network it just doesnt com on anymore. I seriously miss it.
Good but nowhere near as good as Foster's Home. hide show
This show is good but wasn't as good as Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I like this show. It lasted awhile and finally ended in 2008. Camp Lazlo circles around Lazlo and his adventures at Camp Kidney. He has 2 best friends, Raj and Clam. Overall I give Camp Lazlo a 8.0 for great. It's a really good show so if you've never seen it then tune into Cartoon Network. Well no just look it up on the internet because Cartoon Network got rid of all it's good shows and replaced them with live actiona and all that crap. Watch this show.
When I heard this was from the creator of Rocko's Modern Life, I wanted to see it premier so so bad but when I saw every episode, I wanted to hide in my closet with a bazooka to my head. hide show
Joe Murray! (creator), What happened? I thought this show was going to have the same style of humor that Rocko did, (adult jokes, slapstick etc.) but that was just a thought. All I saw was a half-baked Monkey that acts like Sponge Bob, a nerdy fat elephant, a mentally ill rhinoceros thingy, a cranky scout-master moose, an unaware slug counselor, a mongoose that's believed to be Lazlo's girl friend, two stupid disgusting dung beetles, and an antagonist named Edward. They can be simply be put into Sponge Bob characters. Even the title copies Sponge Bob's title with those letters, and they almost have exaggerated Sponge Bob humor! It's a shame that Joe Murray Made a terrific cartoon in the past and then went into this garbage (sorry, no offense Joe). How could people say this show is comparable to Rocko and it's funny? People open your eyes!
This show's mainly about a disabled monkey who go's to summer camp called "Camp Kidney" where scouts known as bean scouts live, next to Leaky Lake and Acorn Flats. This monkey's name is Lazlo, and lives in his cabin named after a bean. And lives with a elephant mammoth called Raj, and a disabled Rhino reptile thing called Clam. Camp Lazlo was created by Joe Murray and also creators of Rocko's Modern Life which you all know. The characters are somehow likeable, the humors funny, and the animation in great. Too bad CN ended this series. They barley show Camp Lazlo anymore except sometimes in sundays.
