In episode 10 Slugfest it looked like Lumpus met Slinkman when Slinkman applied for a job but in this episode they met when they were kids at Camp Kidney.

Turns out the battle that Lumpus' grandfather had was with his own allies not the enemies. (edit) When Slinkman and Lumpus are about to jump Dead Beans Drop, Slinkman has hair for a split second. (edit) While Lumpus is climbing back up Pimpleback Mountain for the 1st time, you can hear a dramatic verison of The Ants Go Marching in the background. (edit) Credits: In the future, two Bean Scouts discover a capsule containing an old Slinkman, Lumpus, Chip, and Skip. The name "Old Iron Sides" is a refrence to the U.S.S Constitution which was named old ironsides for cannonballs bouncing off the sides. (edit) Slinkman's Superslug costume is based off of Evel Knievel's daredevil costume. (edit)
