Li is starring at the road and he can see his own reflection because the weather is so cold that the streets froze. Meilin is complaining that it was so cold and that she was wearing a skirt and Li was wearing pants.
Sakura comes out and Madison is waiting for her. Sakura thinks the weather was great and Madison asks Li and Meilin if they wanted to go skiing. Sakura sarcastically tells Madison that they'll start Li and Meilin on the bunny hill, but they (Li and Meilin) already took off. As soon as she gets to the road, she's surprised because the road is totally frozen. Sakura thinks that ice skating was the same as rollerblade, but as she got on the ice with her rollerblades, she quickly falls on her behind. Madison tells her friend that it was a 7.5 for falling with style. Madison tells her friend that she (Sakura) can show off her skills at the skating rink that they were going to on a field trip. Sakura claims that she's good at sports, but she quickly asks Madison to help her up.
When Sakura got home, Tori teases her that she'll fall at the ice rink and that she should take lessons. Sakura, of course, is annoyed. That night she is having the same dream again, about a figure in black with big yellow eyes like a cat. The moon was full and shining. It's a familiar figure, but the figure is always in shadows and she can't see who it is. Sakura wakes up and so does Kero. She tells Kero about her dream again and he wonders if it was Yue in her dream.
The next day, Meilin is complaining about the weather and about the trip. Although Meilin and Li were the only ones covered in jackets, they were freezing and shivering.
At the skating rink, Sakura gets on the ice for a while and falls again, while Madison is skating like a "pro". Li slides across on his butt and complains that he'd rather go to the National Art Museum. Meilin cries for help and Miss Mackenzie comes and teaches her the basics of skating. Later Miss Mackenzie teaches Sakura the basic and tells her that you have to think of the ice as your friend. Miss Mackenzie asks Li if he wants some pointers, but he tells her that he can skate fine. He gets up and shows them that he can skate, but after a while he falls on his butt again. Sakura and Madison get some hot chocolate and Sakura tells Meilin that she'll be warmer if she had some hot chocolate, but Meilin couldn't get away from the heater. Everyone else is watching Miss Mackenzie and they think she skated like a pro, but Li thinks that she is a show off. Mr. Terada tries to cheer up Meilin, but Meilin is freezing and shivering. The teacher realized that it was getting really cold and he asks the store managers if they could turn up the heat. They tell Mr. Terada that the heater doesn't seem to be working. Most of Sakura's friends are freezing too and they get off the ice. Meilin couldn't even move because her legs are frozen. Soon everyone starts getting off the ice and complaining. Li tries to lift Meilin, but soon ice covers her completely. As Mr. Terada tells everyone to get off the ice, he gets totally covered by ice as well. Madison couldn't move and froze right in front of Sakura. Soon everyone else gets covered by ice. Li asks Sakura why they weren't frozen and she thinks that the Clow Card isn't strong enough to freeze people with magical powers.
We suddenly see Miss Mackenzie behind a wall, not frozen. All of a sudden, we see The Freeze surrounds Li and Sakura. Li jumps out of the way and Sakura gets carried up by the ice. Sakura uses The Jump and skates away from The Freeze. Li saves Sakura from another ice attack, but The Freeze jumps up from the ice and knocks Sakura down. Sakura uses The Jump again, but gets attacked from behind. She is knocked out and the ice starts to cover her. Li punches the ice, but stops when he notices that the ice covered the sealing wand. The Freeze comes over and Li notices that it's as big as a whale. It jumps out of the ice again and Li wakes up Sakura and she takes the wand from the ice. Li tells her that she can seal The Freeze because it appears under the ice right before it comes out to attack.
Li creates the diversion and caused The Freeze to come out of the ice. Sakura quickly seals the Clow Cards and the card goes to Li. Everyone unfreezes and it warmed up right away. Madison is confused and Meilin complains that it was too hot. Miss Mackenzie buys everyone some hot chocolate and Sakura passes them out. Meilin is now interested in skating and tells Li that she signed them up for skating. Li says he's fine, but he falls on his butt right after he said that.
