Sakura is rollerblading down the street and bladed right under two moving men. She apologizes to them and tell them that she's late. When she turns back around, a cat runs right in front of her. Sakura tries to come to a complete stop, but couldn't. The cat got out of the way just in time, but Sakura keep going until a woman grabs her hand before she fell. She stares at the woman and thanks her for saving her. The woman smiles and tells Sakura that she'll see her tomorrow. Sakura stares at the woman and wondered what she meant by I'll see you tomorrow.
At night, Sakura tells Kero about the woman and she explains to him that she came out of nowhere. Tori comes in to give his sister some dessert and he thought he saw Kero move. He stares at the stuffed animal for a while until he figures that it was just his imagination and leaves. Kero is relieved and tells Sakura that her brother might be catching on to them.
The next day, Sakura is late and she blades as fast as she can to school and made it just in time. In class, the teacher explains since the Math teacher will be away for a while, the class has a new Math teacher. The woman, Miss Mackenzie, that saved Sakura the other day came in and greets the class. Sakura senses something weird right away and so does Li.
At recess, Li tells Sakura that he felt something weird about the new Math teacher and that they have to be on guard. All of a sudden, Miss Mackenzie comes over and tell them that they don't have to be on guard. The group is shocked, but when the Math teacher tells them that Math isn't that hard, they are relieved. Miss Mackenzie tells Li that he doesn't have to be on guard because he's pretty good at Math. She turns to Madison and tell her that she senses that Madison loves Math and she agrees. The teacher tells Meilin that she knows Math isn't so easy for her and that she knows Sakura is good at Math. Sakura agrees and thanks her again for saving her the other day.
After school, Sakura and her friends talk about some special amulet that brings luck and both Meilin and Sakura quickly ask where they could find the amulet. Meilin suddenly backs off and pretends that she wouldn't spend her allowance on some stupid amulet. When Sakura and Madison get to the amulet store, Sakura feels a little different or "out of whack". The two friends turn around because they see both Meilin and Li near the store too. Meilin is dragging her "boyfriend" to the store so he can get her the amulet. When they see Madison and Sakura, Meilin is embarrassed and tells them that they were only joking. Sakura goes over and ask Li if he felt anything weird about the place. Suddenly a bell rings and they see a maze near the store. When they realized that something was definitely wrong, it was too late because The Maze card created a maze around them. Sakura figures out that it was a Clow Card and Li thinks it is The Maze card.
The group walks around for a while and found out that they were walking in circles. Li tries to use the Lasin Board, but it didn't help. Sakura releases The Fly card and tries to use it to find the exit, but every time Sakura gets higher the walls get higher until they closed. Next Sakura releases The Sword card and tries to cut those the wall. It works, but the wall closes again.
All of a sudden the walls start to change and a new maze appears. Madison is lifted up into the air and Li takes out an Ofudas and uses the wind element to bring Madison safely down. Li quickly realizes that Meilin is gone and finds her stuck to a side of a wall. Li takes out another Ofudas and uses the wind element again, but it doesn't work this time. Sakura wonders why and Li tells her this time even the space dimension are warped.
At Sakura's house, Aiden Avalon, Sakura's father, puts down the phone and tells Tori that Sakura got out of school the same time as always. Tori tells his dad that he'll do and look for Sakura. He rides his bike down the street to look for his sister. When the group decides to go through a tunnel to get to Meilin they ask her to count so they'll know where she is. Meilin starts counting, but suddenly stops at 7. Li, Sakura and Madison runs out of the tunnel to find that Meilin is gone. When Sakura thinks to go back though the tunnel to find Meilin, they hear something. Suddenly a shadow appears and Li gets ready to fight. It Meilin and Li is happy to see her. Miss Mackenzie comes out behind Meilin and they see her holding a bell-like instrument.
Sakura's stomach grumbles and their teacher tell them that she's hungry as well and they might as well leave. Sakura tries to explain to their teacher that they have tried. Miss Mackenzie uses the bell to blow up a hole in a wall and Sakura is surprised that it didn't grow back. The groups leaves through the wall and Li tells Sakura that he was right about their new Math teacher all along.
Tori comes near the store and senses that Sakura is somewhere near. Finally, the bell destroys the last wall and they all are pleased and run out of the maze. The Maze cards starts to change again and Sakura quickly seals it after Miss Mackenzie turns around. The card flies to their Math teacher and she gives it back to Sakura. Tori finds his sister and tells her that their father is really worried. Meilin and Sakura is shocked and Li thinks it's another maze. But they find out that the two girls are upset because the store is closed and there are no amulets left. Miss Mackenzie gives them an amulet each and Sakura tell their teacher that that was the reason they came to the place. She asks their Math teacher how she knew and she gave them a blank answer.
Later, Madison's ride came and Li and Meilin walked home. Sakura thanks Miss Mackenzie again and leaves with Tori.
