Japanese Title: Sakura and the Mysterious Magic Book
(edit)
In the U.S. version of this episode, clips of the Sand Card was taken form "The Sands of Time" for the beginning and the end.
(edit)
In the UK and Australia, this is the very first episode. It is not a flashback episode in those regions.
It is also not a flashback episode when aired in Canada on Teletoon - instead, it shows Sakura narrate how she became a cardcaptor. (edit) Sakura's brother Tori, still has a japanese name, even though it was changed from Touya. Tori means "bird" in japanese. (edit) The Australia version does not depict a flashback embedded in the Sand Card battle. It resembles the Japanese version instead. (edit)

Sakura: Is this what you're looking for?
Kero: Huh? Oh, the Windy Card! That's it! Thank you! So, uh, where's the rest?
Sakura: Well, as soon as I read the word "Windy"...
Kero: Yeah?
Sakura: This huge wind started blowing.
Kero: Yeah, yeah?
Sakura: Heh heh heh, and they blew away.
Kero: Ha ha! Blew away!
Sakura and Kero: Ha ha ha ha.
Kero: What-oooh.. (edit) Sakura: Ah! There, I'm all finished! See you!
Tori: Where are you taking that?
Sakura: Up to my room to eat. (edit) Tori: Sakura, if you tried, do you think you could be any louder? (edit) Tori: But hey, I'm lucky. How many guys get a dinosaur for a little sister? (edit) Nikki: Sakura's maybe the best baton twirler our school's ever had.
Chelsea: But sometimes she can be a total klutz. (edit)
