Sakura is raking the yard. She is very tired and Eli comes up, offering to help. While helping Sakura, he moves Tori's bike. While she isn't looking, he casts a spell on the bike. They finish the yard work and Eli leaves. When Tori comes home for his notes, he senses something wrong with his bike but leaves to go study, though he is a little suspicious of Sakura. Up in Sakura's room, Kero explains that The Clow Cards draw their power from Sakura's star but cannot do it directly and must use Sakura as a channel, which drains her energies. Sakura picks up the Sakura Book and The Star Cards float around her, but the Clow Cards don't move, Sakura says they feel cold and distant. Kero explains that if their not transformed and receive power they will break free in search of power. Desperate to prevent disaster, Sakura tries to transform the rest of the cards. Sakura is able to successfully transform seven cards before fainting. Kero revives her and the newly transformed cards flutter with energy. Though one card, The Dash, was in its transformation process as Sakura was fainting and it breaks its seal in a confused state, not knowing its purpose of being called upon and caught between the magic of Clow and Sakura, The Dash runs into Tori's bike and races away. Sakura rollerblades after it but is unable to catch it and calls Li for help. From their view in the floor, Eli, Ruby, and Spinner watch Sakura. Spinner expresses concern for The Dash over Ruby's amusement of the situation. Li shows up and helps Sakura, but his magic thunder is too slow to hit Dash. Off of Kero's idea to cut off the Dash's escape route, Sakura transforms The Loop. The Dash card runs, passing into The Loop and returning to Sakura, Li, and Kero. Fleeing from the bike, The Dash bolts into the air and Sakura sends The Windy to catch it and it brings the confined Dash to Sakura. Holding The Dash in her arms, Sakura calms it down and The Dash turns back into a Star Card. Sakura resolves to transform all the cards, but becomes tired and falls asleep. Madison arrives and complains that she missed a transformation; Kero anxiously explains what she missed.
