When visiting student Li Showron joins Sakura's grade four class, she immediately senses something strange about him. Her suspicions are confirmed when he rudely demands the Clow Cards from her in the schoolyard. Things get even stranger when, on the way home from school, Sakura and Madison are caught in a storm, which turns out to be the escaped Thunder Card announcing its presence. Soon, wearing one of Madison's technologically correct battle costumes, Sakura tries to capture the card, but success only comes with the help of the new kid, Li Showron, and the Shadow Card. This episode has excitement, and adds newness to the series. It makes you want to watch it more to find out more about the new character. This episode also shows that Sakura's brother does care very much for his sister because in this one scene when Li was asking Sakura for the cards he started to fight her, and that is when Sakura's brother came to the rescue. I think that several people would agree that this episode is an exciting one that deserves a 9. It does not deserve a perfect score because the stuff is predictable in the episode.

Wow, Li is strange alright. He seems to look very Chinese. Omg, he is. That dream was pretty weird. Yeah, I didn't believe it. He didn't even know who Sakura was yet he seemed to act like he knew. Also, he seems to be afraid or like Julian(Yukito) and ran away. There seems to be quite a storm in the night only there is no thunder. Sakura goes to school to catch the card, but then Li shows up. He seems to know what he's doing. Sakura was so hopeless using windy. Lee should be the owner of the cards. Ah well THunder is finally caught.
Sakura meets a new exchange student who is a descendant of Clow Reed. hide show
This episode was so exciting because Li makes his appearence for the first time and declares hisself as Sakura's rival. He wants to take away her revived cards and take over. Since it didn't happen, Sakura had another trouble ahead. The thunder beast, Raiju shows it's true visible form when battling both. Sakura uses the Shadow Card to catch it and worked. Li told her that she has no clue about this and Sakura was upset by his comment. Overall, I rate this episode a 100%!

This episode is worth watching because Li is introduced. It also starts the whole all magicains are from england trend. This episode has a very good looking card, thunder, who loks very dog like. Li is snobbish, rude and arrogant, but latter devolopes a crush on Sakura, who is his rival.
sakura's class has a new student.li showron he isn't just any new student however he wants the cards. kero tells sakura that li is a decendant of clow reed and sakura thinks that she should give him the cards but kero reasures her they're hers hide show
this is quite a good episode however kids WB aired it first so the entire storyline of the series is muddled up. li evidently hates sakura for no reason so he gets hated by everyone instantly. also at the end of the episode the thunder and the shadow card look like they do in the manga version cardcaptor sakura.
