The time has come for Sakura to face The Final Judgement for dominion over the Clow Cards. Yue challenges her to try and defeat him using the Clow Cards she's collected. Still unable to separate the cold Yue from his alter-ego Julian, Sakura initially refuses to fight. She chooses to use the gentle Wood Card, hoping to end the test without hurting her friend, but Yue turns her magic against her and declares that she isn't strong enough to be the new Master. Unwilling to accept the consequences of failing the Final Judgement, Sakura listens to her heart and stands firm against Yue. Using her newly transformed Clow Staff emblazoned with a star, Sakura defeats Yue and reaches out to him as a friend. Yue finally acknowledges that Sakura's true strength lies in her heart and officially recognizes her as the new Master of the Clow Cards. Clow Reed appears to Sakura and tells her that he is pleased - the Cards will be in good hands. Contributor: Yami Bakura Fan, can be viewed on Clowbook.com

Sakura doesn't like the concept of battling Yue, who she is convinced is still Julian, and refuses to fight. Even though Sakura won't fight back, Yue express no mercy and attacks Sakura. She manages to escape on Fly but Yue is faster and overpowers Sakura. Seeing Sakura in trouble, Li attempts to help but Kero warns that any assistance will cause Sakura to lose immediately. Sakura attempts to think of a card that will help Sakura without hurting Yue, Sakura summons Wood, which doesn't attack Yue. As it turns out, Wood is another card ruled by the moon, and Yue turns it against Sakura, causing Sakura to become trapped in the vines. Sakura begs for another chance but Yue refuses. Kero, Madison, Li, and Miss Mackenzie watch on as Sakura loses, everything goes black.
Next morning, Sakura wakes up, the day is mediocre, but Sakura senses something is missing. On the way to school, in class, and during practice, Sakura feels something missing still. Running into the woods after school, Sakura hears the voices of the others, Madison, Kero, Miss Mackenzie, and a bell. Night is suddenly recalled and Sakura is back in the judgement, released from the vines. Miss Mackenzie's bell disappears, as its purpose was to give Sakura a second chance in the judgement. Sakura uses a new incantation, raising the staff in the air, the cards return to Sakura and the staff changes into the star staff. Sakura calls on Windy and it successfully traps Yue. Yue finally declares Sakura the new master. Yue sends Sakura into a dream and Clow Reed appears in it, telling her he is proud Sakura is the master. Yue still has concerns about Sakura and so Kero and Yue decide to remain in their earthly forms incase Sakura needs assistance, not knowing what lies ahead. (Contributor: MirrorCard)
