The Last Card (2)

Episode Number: 45    Season Num: 2    First Aired: Saturday July 28, 2001    Prod Code: n/a
After using smarts over strength to capture the Earth Card - the final Clow Card (and fourth Element) Sakura watches mystified as Kero transforms into his true form, the Guardian Beast of the Seal. But as Sakura soon finds out, Kero isn't the only one who has his magical powers back. The elusive Yue shows himself for the first time and, just as the Light and dark Cards prophesized, he turns out to be someone who was always by Sakura's side - Julian. Yue, The Judge and second guardian of the Clow Cards, announces that he will preside over the Final Judgement. With Kero by her side, Sakura watches as Li is put to the test and prepares to meet her own challenge for dominion over the Cards. Contributor: Yami Bakura Fan, can be viewed on Clowbook.com

The last card is on the attack, raising spikes into the air at a fast rate. Everyone, except Miss Mackenzie, is affected, the earth around her isn't disturbed! Sakura calls on sleep, putting everyone except Li, Madison, and Kero asleep. Miss Mackenzie is also unaffected by the card's magic. Sakura goes into the air with Kero, observing the damage. Earthy continues its attack and reveals its visible form. A creature, snake-like, with spikes from its body, capable of movement and regeneration. Sakura gets the idea that trees have roots holding the Earth, after seeing none of the trees have been knocked down in the attack. Calling on Wood, Sakura is able to capture Earthy. After the capture, Kero's body begins to glow and huge wings wrap around him, revealing his true form.
Later that night, Sakura, Li, Madison, Kero, and Miss Mackenzie are present. After Sakura signs her name on Earthy, Julian begins to glow and levitate, wings wrapping around him, and transforming into Yue. By the Radio Tower, the moon is full. Yue blames Kero for the release of the cards, saying it never should have happened.
The final judgment begins, Li is up first, the goal is to defeat Yue. Yue hits Li with crystal shards and Sakura attempts to help Li, but a magical barrier prevents outside interference. Li is losing, and summons Time. As it turns out, Time is a card under Yue's protection and Yue is turns Time's power against Li. Li loses the final judgment, and all of his cards. Sakura is next.
