Sakura is invited to Madison's for tea. She goes and has tea with Madison and her mother. Whilst there, she finds out all about her mother because Madison's mother knew her as a child.
Madison later shows Sakura a box that belonged to Natasha Avalon. It won't come open though. Sakura wants to open it because it belonged to her mother. She can't though, so gets out her staff.
She soon finds out it's the Shield card and seals it. The box comes open and inside is a bouquit of cherry blossom and a dress.

Samantha (Madison's Mom) reveals her relationship to Natasha and Aideen. Namely, the incident where Natasha fell out of a tree, fell on Aideen Avalon, and fell in love.

Sakura goes to Madison's house and finds out that it's the shield card by tapping the box with her staff. But when she is about to release the sword card to get rid of it, she says the words that release her magic staff instead of the ones releasing a card although her staff was already there.

The Shield Card usually protects very valuable objects, and is stronger if the protected object is cherished by its owner.
