When Kero and Li both try to catch the Change Card at the same time, they are transformed into each other's bodies. Although they simply have to return to the same place at the same time the next day in order to reverse the change, both characters find being the other person is harder than they thought.

Sakura, Li, and Kero are in a battle with The Change. Li and Kero both struggle to hold the card down and Sakura captures it. By accident however, Li and Kero get trapped in each other's bodies. Both thinking the other's life is simpler than the other's; they approach the situation with ego-inflated attitudes. Both find it difficult though, as Kero, while in Li's body, has to make soup for Meilin and attend school. Li, while in Kero's body, is unable to fly and gets himself hurt and has to feel what it is like to be a stuffed animal in "The claw game". Then Li, in Kero's body, comes to school with Sakura and watches Kero, in Li's body, humiliate Li at school. While everyone is outside, Li, in Kero's body, is in the classroom but he is picked up by a teacher and is placed in a bag to be taken to the lost-and-found. Unfortunately, Mr. Terada has an identical bag with a teddy bear that looks like Kero, and the two bags get switched. Mr. Terada takes the one with Li, in Kero's body, and Sakura, Meilin, and Kero, in Li's body, find the stuffed animal. They all contemplate The Change's power when they realize the teddy bear is a real stuffed animal, not Kero's body. They find out that Mr. Terada returned Li, in Kero's body, to the toy shop. They end up having to play that "claw game", which he's been placed in, to retrieve him. Finally, the 24 hours are up and Sakura uses The Change to undo the switch.
