Ben gets closer to finding his father, and learns that he was once at the hotel, but has left long ago. Ben then goes to investigate further, and meets his father, who is working at the hotel. Ben learns more about who he is when he brings Scudder to Management. He learns that Scudder is his opposite. He also learns that Management has a son, and his son is the one who will carry on the fight, for the side of evil.

In the scene where Scudder is in the room with Management and Ben, Management jumps out from behind the curtain onto Scudders back. At one point, we see management with a mask over half of his face, later no mask in on his face. Then we see the mask again. This second time we see the mask, Scudder rips it off of management. Obviously an editting goof.
